I honestly dont want him at Chelsea. Chelsea had similar problems to us last season where they would randomly lose to trash. Lukaku would bully the trash. Then they would set up in the big games without him. They are Title contenders with him to be honest.
If it’s true it’s going to be €130m, that’s a lot for 28 years old striker. But I guess, they have no other option to sign. Hope it’s €130m before adding Alonso on the deal.

I mean.... If they play him in on goal, rather than play off him. Then I can see him being pretty dangerous and an upgrade on Werner. Lukaku can actually slot in nicely imo and play that Werner role thinking about it.

I hope they do it. If Lukaku goes to Chelsea and Kane goes to City then that leaves the door wide open for United to sign Haaland next year who would be vastly better than either.

No only in Italy, he has done well in WC and Euro too. The only time he wasn’t good is his last season with us, when our whole team was in a mess. He was in general among top 3 striker in PL during his time at Everton.

Also as per Di Marzio, Chelsea have offered him 12 million net, which makes him highest paid player in the league.
€120m for Lukaku (hell, even 100) is beyond insanity. Sorry, but he is not top tier by any stretch of imagination.

This. In a universe where Grealish and Lukaku are worth 100mil, Kane has to be 150+
Besides, Chelsea are also offering a player + 100mil. So Levy should ask for 130-150mil plus a player.
I rate him highly, but he clearly has his limitations. I hope Chelsea get him for that price, City get Kane for a stupid price and we go all out for Haaland next summer unless bald Martial reaches Henry.

His price reflects the fact that Inter don't want to lose him. It's not unreasonable. And there aren't a lot of options either, if what you want is a really top shelf striker. Lukaku is that, I think. Although he's been more dominant in Serie A this year than he's ever been in the PL.

Maybe it's time to stop heaping praise on Cheleas transfer activity? They failed in their pursuit for Haaland and now they are preparing to pay crazy money for Lukaku. I do think he'll make them a better team and will probably be a good signing but the fee and wages are not value for money.
