I like how the Interviewer gradually puts forward some pressing questions concerning Lukaku's game, especially the first touch issue. He means the one where the female version of Rashford interviews him.
female version of Rashford
He means the one where the female version of Rashford interviews him.
Cannot unsee it...the female version of Rashford
When you say 'evidently' is that your observation or do you have any specific information about tensions?Lukaku's going to be a interesting character around the club now as Jose, his favourite coach, has gone.
There's evidently a tension between him and a few players.
What tension?Lukaku's going to be a interesting character around the club now as Jose, his favourite coach, has gone.

Him and Pogba were best buds before he joined, doesn't seem that way anymore, going off their on field chemistry. When you say 'evidently' is that your observation or do you have any specific information about tensions?
I normally don't even care about interviews of Liverpool let alone other players, but that one is excellent. Great questions. He means the one where the female version of Rashford interviews him.
Yeah that was a bit special, what does he expect? Scholes doesn't have a personal problem with him, he will act normally when they meet.I didn't like his comments regarding Scholes.
Interviewer pointed out that Scholes' belief is that Lukaku doesn't work hard enough. Lukaku's response is, "Well, when I see Scholes in person he shakes my hand and doesn't say it to my face. But then, he's a pundit and is paid to say things."
That's passing the buck, isn't it? Deal with the criticism. Just because it comes from Scholes in a studio and not to your face, doesn't make it any less valid.
Yup! Besides that, Scholes is not just some random paid pundit. If anything, he's more invested emotionally into Manchester United than Romelu is, so, any criticisms of Romelu aren't going to be sensationalistic. Scholes thinks like a fan, because, he is one. Most of the stuff he says is exactly the same as what most of the stuff on Redcafe reads.Yeah that was a big special, what does he expect? Scholes doesn't have a personal problem with him, he will act normally when they meet.
To mourn over his loss re. Jose? He’s on compassionate leave apparently for the rest of the month.
No idea why.
Lukaku is ridiculously quick period. He has registered 2-3 of the quickest speeds on the pitch for us from the whole squad last season. I have no idea why he felt he needed to get bigger. This, even heavy Lukaku would be ridiculously quick over distance in a straight line. The problem is that type of speed is less useful than one might think in football. Acceleration, agility and balance are what really matter for most players, as well as having exceptional stamina. Adding unnecessary bulk will not help any of those attributes.
Impossible to say really as we have no idea how highly any of them rate Lukaku. Is Lukaku still our first choice striker or has Rashford rightfully earned the spot? Obviously most fans would back Rashford over Lukaku but I'm not sure if Ole and the coaching staff have the same opinion. They might still feel that Rom is first choice and that the last 6 months was just bad timing with him bulking and losing form and our whole team playing horrible football.
Surely coming to training everyday would help with that, no place to hide and eat pasties.Have a feeling he's been told to sort out his weight. His brother is still with the Lazio squad.
That's definitely what I would have done if I came in as new manager. Give him time off to get his body and head back in shape.Have a feeling he's been told to sort out his weight. His brother is still with the Lazio squad.
Was it officially described as compassionate leave? That's definitely what I would have done if I came in as new manager. Give him time off to get his body and head back in shape.
Would seem bizzare to describe it as compassionate leave when you could just say he was injured instead though, so I doubt that's what has happened.
Not if he's been sent to a boot camp like Rooney in 2010.Surely coming to training everyday would help with that, no place to hide and eat pasties.
Muscle I suspect. I'm not an expert but I'd suspect too much muscle or too much fat have similar consequences.I dont get it, has he added too much muscle or got too fat?
Yeah, cause people act like he's gotten obese. Although yeah, muscle or fat, it seriously hampered his play.Muscle I suspect. I'm not an expert but I'd suspect too much muscle or too much fat have similar consequences.
He means the one where the female version of Rashford interviews him.
No. The papers were the ones speculating. Was it officially described as compassionate leave?
It's not the time to rock the boat completely. He deserves second chance. He won't be here next season. He will find it hard to get games in the second half of the season.
