You could sell him to Liverpool for 30 million, although hes not English!

In all seriousness though he could probably fetch 18-20 max.

He's got one year left on his contract, he's been generally underwhelming for quite a long time now, had quite a few injury problems and did not play too much.

If anyone offers 18 million or even 15 million, we should bite their hands off. Or, of course, we can keep Nani, get him to sign a new contract and hope that he'll return to the form that we saw from him in 2010.

With Young injured, there's no excuse not to start him against Stoke now.

Valencia on the right, Welbeck or Kagawa on the left and Nani still on the bench would not be surprising. In truth I'm not sure it matters as right now no one is making a case for themselves as a starter on our wings.

Well, it's likely the type of club that comes in for him is gonna be a sugar daddy owned one. So don't be so surprised to see stupid figures for him.

Unless he wants to go to Russia, which other Sugar Daddy club will want him ?

They are hardly a Sugar Daddy club anymore. They'll have to sell Isco whose on probably less wages because of financial problems in the first place.

They have Lucas, Menez and Lavezzi for the 1 or 2 wide positions with the way they play and if they want another they are likely to make a move for the latest new and young shiny thing. Possible but not likely.

That's why I said "...if they lose Isco". A potential sale would generate enough for them to be able to meet a transfer fee. I don't know anything about their wage structure and whether or not they have room for one more high earner.

PSG is another option but I struggle to see who he'd replace.

Not that I want it to happen mind you.

There's a few Prem clubs that could do with him, even City should be interested given they lack any real wide player bar Sinclair. Not that I think it would ever happen.

Has played fewer games than Young and Valencia but provided more goals (which isn't difficult considering neither of the former have scored) and more assists.

He should be the first name on the team sheet out wide.

I doubt it tbh. They don't get any Sheikh money anymore and are in financial trouble hence why they were ruled out for next years European competitions.

They will pretty much have to sell most of their valuable players over the next one or two seasons, especially considering that they won't have any CL money next year as well, so I doubt they could afford someone like Nani even if they sell Isco.

They couldnt afford a transfer fee for a player like him even if they sold half the first team. They are banned from playing in europe next season for financial irregularities

Same here, and this whole situation with him is ridiculous, similar to Berbatov's, no wonder we sell top players for bargain.

Clearly on his way out. Crying shame really, what he offers to United cannot be replicated by the other options in his position. An exciting talent lost can only be a negative, especially considering Young and Valencia have barely warranted the continuing game time they seem to luxuriate in.

Zaha will probably be his indirect replacement, but I would hope Ferguson has identified suitable targets to replace the creativity and class we lose with Nani. We don't have players right now who can just ghost past markers and open up space like he does.

If he leaves we better come up with some replacement. This Zaha lad can't seriously be the solution.
Don't want him to go, as I would only accept Bale as a replacement but well we won't get him.

I'll miss the lad. He can be frustrating but when he's given a run of games, he shows his class.

I hope he gets a go when we play West Ham. Still has a few matches left to prove his worth to the club. I would much rather he stay because he is capable of being a far better winger than Valencia/Young.

Well, Buttner and two CBs were on the bench, so, you figure it out.

It's really going to be so frustrating when Nani leaves. He's one of the few flair players that we have and the only winger in the squad who can take on and beat his man regularly. It's really shocking to imagine that he won't be at this club next year whereas Young and his 100k a week wages and Valencia will continue to be our first choice wingers.

What will be really frustrating is when he becomes one of the best players in the world within weeks of signing for Bayern Munich (or whoever).

That won't happen though. Nani on his day is a very good player. Unfortunately "his day" is few and far between these days.

fecking stupid to sell as he's one of, if not our best technical player. But it's happening.

That's not how life works mate. As soon as he has someone else's shirt on he'll become as consistent as he was in 2010 and 2011, and he'll not be rotated like he was back then, so he'll step up even more. So it goes.

That will be incredibly frustrating if it happens mate.

I'd still have Nani starting over Valencia every single time at the moment (if he's fit) though. Nani is the only unpredictable winger we have.

He's the most likely player we have to create something out of nowhere, if he goes (which seems more and more likely) we need to replace him with someone other than Zaha.

Going in to next season with Young, Valencia, and Zaha as our three wingers doesn't leave me with much hope.

I agree with Chabon. We all know what a run of games does for Nani but he just can't get it at the moment. I dont understand how just because of one poor game he's dropped but our other wingers can do the same and still start the next match.

The likely explanation is that he's leaving. I assume the logic is why persist with a player who won't be here next season when you can get players that will be here in to some form.

The realisation that we're gonna sell Nani, and be left watching Valencia and Young week in week out is rather depresing.
