Is that the first time he's scored with his head?

Am not very good at recalling such stuff. he surely must have scored before but its a very rare occurence to be fair.

The only time I remember him using his head was when he stupidly stuck his head on that Ronaldo goal for Portugal that was subsequently ruled out for Nani being offside when it was going in anyway.

Yeah, remember that. was a fkin brilliant goal that till he spoiled it.

Ohh and he used his head to set Kuyt up last season.. :(

Hopefully he'll rock up at Anfield in 'point to prove mode' having handed Kuyt a goal on a platter and then being savaged by Carragher last time out.

He's been in fantastic form so far this season.

He is unstoppable.

Still has tendancy to shoot instead of pass in obvious passing situations but with his insane crossing and finishing with both feet it's really hard to critisize his game.

I honestly think he can beat his man better than anyone besides Messi these days.

He made Chelsea look like amateurs.

Should have started at Wembley. He will start every big game from now on I am sure. He has consistently delivered in big games.

Excited to see how he and Ronaldo will do at Euro 2012 too.

Nani has 9 goals and 7 assists for United and Portugal since the end of last season. Ashley Young has 7 goals and 11 assists for United and England in the same time frame.

Running him pretty close.

They have been run close in the stat factor for quite a few seasons now.

I'm just so happy we have both, I love them like my sons and I'm not a father.

It's a beautiful thing to have both in the same side. Two world class wingers in every sense of the word.

Its great and they've been key to our productive start to the season, but people were already saying the same about world class wingers last season.

With good cause.

Nani's been getting deserved plaudits for last season's performances but the bright start to the season from Young and Nani, combined with our injury problems at RB, means people are already forgetting the impact Valencia had last season playing on the wing.

Yep, he was fantastic. If being ultra critical though, he went missing when it absolutely mattered in the Champions League final. He had a shocker.

Seeing as someone as talented as Cristiano Ronaldo did exactly the same thing - when we played the same opposition at the same stage of the same competition - I wouldn't hold that against him.

Ronaldo's downfall in the CL final is that he tried to win itall by himself at times. It was like going back to when he was an 18 year old.

He wasn't doing it all season, the cl final came and his mentality changed. He wasn't playing like that vs Arsenal or Porto.

That's not crazy, they really are far better now. Scary.

Ashley Cole has been gang-raped by our wingers. Valencia last season, Nani this season. Poor guy. :)

As I said, was ultra critical... Didnt think Ronaldo played as badly in Rome as Valencia did at Wembley!

Ronaldo was one of our better players in Rome. He was one of only a few that did their absolute nut to win the game. He may have tried to win it on his own, but he has bugger all support from the likes of Rooney and Carrick.
