My prediction: Camavinga on deadline day, he's seen as a worthwhile investment because of his potential and the little risk attached. If however he opts not to join us, think that United will pull the trigger on getting Saul in on loan. Either way, I'm convinced one of these two are coming in.

But getting a midfielder too would be ruthless and exactly what we need to make the team genuine contenders for the PL and CL. Surely the expense it would take would be well worth it to complete the team. Don't quit while we're ahead.

I suppose one way to look at it is that bringing Ronaldo in makes the likes of Martial and Lingard even more sellable. And if we were to make those sort of sales, a midfield signing becomes viable. Lingard at least should generate offers, you'd think.
As for Trippier, if we found someone willing to commit enough to Dalot then I'm sure that would be doable.

The issue with Trippier isn't Dalot really. It's that Madrid are pricing him out of a move.
