Television Lost: The Final Season

Locke actually being in the coffin was also shocking to me.

Locke carries Lost.

Can't believe he's going to be out of the last season even though it seems that way. Do you think they've found a way to keep him around?

And who else fecking hates Jack? He's the most dislikeable character in TV history.

Sawyer was my new found favourite character after S5.

locke will be in season 6.

Awesome. You know this?

And yeah who doesn't like Sawyer. He's cool as feck.

But Jack though. JACK! I could kill that smug bastard.

I was pissed off they built up Jacob for three seasons then killed him in the first episode he was actually in.

We will definately be seeing him again though, still wouldnt surprise me if his conciousness goes to Jack, would make sense as he was knocked out when jughead went off.

But I think it is very safe to say we will see the actual Jacob in flashbacks or something

we'll be seeing a lot of flashbacks..i can guarantee you that.

I had the weirdest of dreams last night!

I was on the island after the incident with the other losties and apparently we hiding from something and so were the the others. Later i found out the island was filled with zombies from the movie 'i am legend'. Ultimately richard saved us all.

For those of you who were hoping for a fairly seamless run through for Lost's final season (similar to the way Season 5 ran with almost no breaks), you're out of luck. According to Abramsology.com, Lost's 6th season is going to be broken up.

According to executive producer Cartlon Cuse, ABC will air the first few episodes in January and then take a time out for the Winter Olympics. The Olympics aren't even airing on ABC, but Lost will still take a break and resume the season in early March.

No official January kick off date has been announced yet.

gay - I prefer watching them week to week. Also wish the format would be 25 eps like it was originally. 16, broken up is not the way to do the finale season

Seems that way, it's only usually a couple of weeks anyway. But it's still a couple of weeks break i don't really want to have to go through when the story is back up and running.

So the winter Olympics start at the end of Winter?

Yes, in the same way the summer Olympics start at the end of summer.

Anyway, that really is annoying. It's the worst thing about American TV, and I can't believe they still do it. If shows missed the occasional week maybe once a series, I'd understand, but it happens on such a regular basis. Family Guy for example is currently on a 3 week hiatus, pointlessly. The final series of Prison Break, in addition to the randomly chosen missed weeks, took a 4 month break, it's absolutely ludicrous.

Only a couple of episodes ?

The greedy bastards sitting in ABC office should feck off and die. Who in there right mind would prefer watching someone sliding down snow over lost ?

Am I not right in thinking that, by 8pm (9 central) the Olympics will be finished for the day anyway?...who's watching night skiing anyway?

'Lost's Juliet 'responsible for finale'

Damon Lindelof has said that the character of Juliet is responsible for the Lost finale.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Lindelof, who executive produces the show alongside Carlton Cuse, claimed that Elizabeth Mitchell's character "birthed season six".

"She is completely responsible for the end game of the show," he revealed. "So the character is going to be seen in a slightly different light this year. We gave her that action for a reason, and that's because she's so important to the fabric of the story."

Cuse added of Juliet's demise in the season five finale: "Damon and I came to a place where we came up with a fantastic 'ending' [for Juliet]. And ending is in quotations, of course, because just because a character's died doesn't mean that their story's over on Lost."

Earlier this year, Mitchell confirmed that she would be returning to the show to film "more than one" episode of the final season.

After reading that my take is that jacob = juliet

its possible because its lost

Yes..

I want to own them all in actual blu ray one day though, i'm hoping when S6 is done there will be one big Blu ray collection

I was considering watching through one of the seasons again because I miss this show so much. Hurry up Feb!

For people in the UK who do not download, Sky are airing it from Friday 5th. Gonna be wierd having it on Fridays, they should go back to how C4 did it and air it on Tuesdays, brightend up the mid week that did

Just found out some crucial plot information. I wish I hadn't stumbled across it, but then when you think you know half the truth (I abruptly stopped reading) you might as well research it anyway... Basically, Locke:

Is cool.
