Television Lost: The Final Season

Opinions? Thoughts? Things that Mockey noticed?!

Give us something!

It wasn't that amazing to be honest, but it was certainly good. I'd put it in the top 3rd of Lost eps, but not in the top 5, or maybe even 10.

There are no spoilers in this bit by the way, but general info on what to expect and how much stuff happens in a vague sense so don't look if you want to be completely unaware..bare in mind I've only seen one half of the ep cos it's a double header init..But still, don't look at it if you don't want an inkling of what to expect from it.

Nothing much actually happens. There is a big wow wtf feck moment near the beginning but once thats out of the way it follows a normal path. It basically deals with the aftermath of the last ep so that presumably the 2nd half can then start to get things moving

We do however get an answer to a very big and very long standing question

but you like S3 the best...:p

I've decided to now avoid this thread until Weds. Too much risk of someone posting something or me opening Mockneys spoiler.

I actually forget where I left off with this show. I used to watch this with my ex but Ive no idea what the fook has gone on in the last 18months. Not sure I can endure the catch up in order to watch the last series.

AMAZING New Promo with NEW Footage

So fecking epic!

...It seriously does mate...It tells you a whole heap of stuff for those that don't want to know

about everything hanging up in the air after the Incident...You've basically ruined it :D

Don't if you don't want to be spoiled, it tells you more than I could by describing every scene in the first ep

Make sure not to talk about it here since we dont want any hints. ;)

Just finished watching season 3 and im rather confused at richard's actions. Why didn't he object to ben's plan when ben decided to raid the camp a day early and take the pregnant women ?

Ben took locke to meet jacob and shot locke on the way back and when he got back to the camp he told richard that jacob told him to raid the camp a day early. But we all know by now that ben never met jacob until last seasons finale and richard also knew ben had never met jacob so why did he go along with ben's plan.

Also shouldn't richard have been a tad suspicious of whom ben actually goes to meet on his own ? I think its safe to say ben has been manipulated by the 'fake locke' for a long time and richard should have known something was up. Afterall he's the one who's really friendly with jacob and knows all the secrets.

I think Richard is considered an advisor and doesn't really take direct control over situations, he follows the leader just like everyone else. However, he clearly has had enough of Ben, which would explain why he gave Sawyer's file to Locke (and therefore his way of killing his father) and explaining how Ben was trying to embarrass him, therefore edging Locke a step closer to replacing Ben. That was my reading of it anyway.

Richard is more than an advisor...he doesn't take orders from anyone apart from jacob. This was particularly shown when richard took ben into the temple after sayid had shot him.

The only thing I can think of is that, with a show as complicated and as long as this, a few mistakes are inevitably going to be made along the way. That's probably it.

I think the writers had originally intended to make the other guy in the cabin jacob. Then they changed there minds.

I normally try to wait until the whole series is out to download so I can watch them all in a few days/a week. Don't think I can resist the temptation this time though.

Yeah, I kinda mis-spoke there. I mean it in the sense he's not the leader, so lets them get on with it for the most part. But you're of course right, he intervenes when required.

I'm extremely gutted right now that I'm in uni all day tomorrow. Will have to start the download off before I leave and watch later on in the day.
