Television Lost: The Final Season

I must say my rewatching journey has been great fun. Timed it perfectly too.

Think I'll leave it another day and a half, then I'll start the S1-5 marathon

I just rewatched 'The Constant' and still don't get some of it. Not sure if I got it first time round or not but anyway.

Why doesn't Desmond remember telling Penny to call him back in 1996? Why doesn't Faraday remember meeting Des at Oxford in 96?

I get that in 1996 he had what he thought was a dream about him being on a boat and then realized that it was actually his conscious from the future. But why doesn't he think about this before he sails in the race and stuff?

I dont think it's been fully answerd on Des's part bar him being "special" but all we know on Faraday is Des saying that he doesnt think he remembers their meeting but the question was never actualy asked to Daniel.

And Faraday being Faraday probably just kept it secret so that he wouldnt change time or something

Having said that he was a strong believer in WHH

He also explained to Jack in a deleted scene that loads of little pebbles won't change the flow of a stream, but a big boulder will. Saying that detonating the Jughead would change history.

One thing that leaves me with hope that they won't pull the '815 crash never happened card' is the storyline happening with the 316ers, Alpert, Jacob and Fake Locke. It's definitely unfinished.

He was in a scene with Desmond and Penny when they had their photo taken by the Thames. He played a chirpy cockney sort. He's actually from Coventry and smells which is why we called him 'Stinky Steve'.

This him?

Yeah, but that was after he found out about the Variables, all that time before then he was hard on the WHH train

Yeah he is where I'm up to at the moment. I want to stroke his beard.

So i just read all the episode reviews on wikipedia from season 3 to season 5 and can safely say this show is fecking stupid.

There are 103 episodes and i have around 7 days left so i'll have to watch 15 episodes everyday.

1 episode = 40 mins
15 episodes = 600 mins

600 mins = 10 hrs

So i'll have to set aside 10hrs out of 24hrs in a day.

Do you have a job?

Good luck with that!

I've been doing my rewatch for the last 6 weeks or so and it's been killer, and still not quite finished.

POTENTIAL SPOILER - SINGLE FRAME IMAGE FROM S6

ClairewithGun.jpg

Claire with a gun in the jungle

This was in a promo and has since been removed.

That person is alive?!

Yeah why wouldn't she be? Last time we saw her she wandered off into the jungle leaving Aaron behind, then she was seen sitting in Jacob's cabin with Christian Shephard, or whatever was in the form of Christian.

Spoiler for last episode of S5

They changed history, presumably everyone who died would be alive again now

Well that's not definite. It was their plan to change history, but I assume it'll be in the S6 premiere when we find out whether it was successful or not.

That is yet to be seen! The character that solius has posted under the spoiler tag wasn't dead anyways.

and even if your theory was right there would be two locke's on the island so its safe to say that theory is wrong.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I can't imagine the next season opening with

the island being a nuclear wasteland and nearly all the characters being dead.

That is not going to happen!

Watching The Other Woman made me remember I want to sex Juliet

Ji Yeon is a fantastic episode. The use of the flashbacks and flashwords is excellent.
