Lost Series 4 *BE AWARE THIS THREAD MIGHT INCLUDE SPOILERS*

ben said to charles windmore that he will not find the island in the flashforward but the men on the boat and on the island are under charles windmore so is ben on crack or was he able to make the island invisible again after the oceanic 6 left the island.

any thoughts ?

and ben surely didnt use desmond's boat to get off the island as he was in the middle of the desert....time travel ??

Interesting ending. I thought Claire would be dead at one point, looking forward to next week.

feck sake, its taking ages to download the mut.

Normally takes around an hour or just over, but today its taking the piss with 15kb download speed.

Did nobody else find it hilarious how they killed off those 3 extras?

One runs out, gets shot
Sawyer: STAY INSIDE
So another runs out, gets shot
Sawyer: GET BACK INSIDE
A third runs out and gets shot

They were just running out to be slaughtered

You'd think by now they'd at least know and care for the extra guys. I know it's impossible for storyline purposes but still found it funny how three died and it didn't really cause much fuss.

Yeah, that was a bit off. When it started, they cared for every survivor, now it is like only the main characters exist.

Poor Alex, she was a looker too.

Nows Ben is after Penny, shes another bird.

Good episode - anybody know when/if there are any Desmond centric episodes coming up? They are the best

The funny thing was, despite 3 people being killed upon coming outside, Sawyer was still screaming "Claire!". If shed have come outside and got shot, it'd have been his fault.

This series has been... Hm.

They've done an excellent job with Ben's character. Everyone else's has been weakened considerably. Locke used to be a strong player, now he's Ben's unknowning lapdog. Jack used to be a strong leader, now he just argues a lot and we know in the flash forward he's just a mess - completely the opposite of what he had been until this series.

Both Jack and Locke need to get their balls back, soon. I'm also not too surprised that Alex died her character's main plot was over and she was reunited with her mother. The mother is gone, and now she is too. It once again doesnt bode well for Sawyer. Although the further he stays away from Kate, the better for maintaining his life.

Desmond centric episodes are way to confusing

Yes but he seemed surprised to find himself in the desert... and wasnt sure what year it was.. very strange.

plus the other 2 people on horses were asking themselves and ben where he came from as there were no footmarks around him and he was wearing a winter coat in the desert.

Yup very strange. It was a Dharma coat, so maybe he wasnt sure where he ended up so wore a coat just in case??

Also, have you read about the real John Locke and how certain losties are named after famous people connected to him?

Link? I hope there's no more stupid filler episodes. We're starting to get some sort of answers, eventually we'll find out what the smoke monster is because Ben will spill the beans like he always does.

"Also, the TV Locke's father is named Anthony Cooper, named for Lord Anthony Ashley-Cooper, the real-world John Locke's political mentor and patron.

Other influential social contract philosophers include David Hume and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. These two authors also appears in Lost namely in the names of the characters Desmond Hume and Danielle Rousseau."

Oo nice one, thanks.

I thought it was funny whenBen went into Bradfords bedroom (Bradford from Ugly Betty, aka Charles Whitmore)

Bradford: "you stand there looking at me, with those horrible little eyes"

"You come into my room in the dead of night, like a rat..."

FINALLY starting to get some answers.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I think we can conclude that the flashforward was just before the time of the flashforward at the end of season 3. Also, I would think that Jack finds out he's related to Claire judging by his and Kate's argument. Andddd where the heck's Claire!?

*END OF SPOILERS*

did anyone notice the smoke alarm beeping indicating that there was smoke and christian was sitting nearby so it means it was the smoke monster sitting there
