Look what I just found hiding in the cupboard....

Yep, it's a PC Engine.

My uncle gave me one of these bad boys with about 200 games. Most didn't work.

It might have been a similar design to the Commodore PET.

Its very similar. Kinda regret buying it in hindsight :)

Played the regular systems but the obscure ones are always interesting. Though the dsi is the most fun i've had in a good while.

Apparently we had one of these when I was a toddler:

First computer I remember using was the Commodore 64 though.

My first console was a PS2, you lot are too fecking old!

My first was a BBC Master - took about 20 mins to load a game through a tape.
Then I had:
NES
SNES
Sega megadrive
N64
Dreamcast
PS2
Xbox

Quality. Although I don't play games since I left uni...

I bought a brand new one of these for about 10quid a few years ago just for the novelty value - Amstrad gave me my first taste of video gaming so I always have a soft spot for them!

I used hate kids asking my what computer I had. I just wanted to be like everyone else. Couldn't get many games for it and all.

Nah my console works perfectly, just wanted to get some NTSC games and since not all of them work on PAL consoles with a converter, thought I'd get an NTSC console if I see one quite cheap :)

I still have the original Gameboy stuck in the loft at my dads house. Wonder how much I could sell it for as its still in good condition?

Probably £30-40. They are not rare and hardly appreciate in value. Factoring in inflation, they are probably worth about 30% of what they cost at launch. Same for all those old consoles really. I remember paying £130 for a Megadrive (and the same for a SNES) - the equivalent of £200 today - and £99 for a Game Gear in the early 90s (£130 today). I think Gameboys were about £70-80 (£110-120). Current consoles are cheaper than they ever were factoring in inflation.

My brother used to have a NES and a master system. They're the first consoles i can remember playing but the first console i ever got was the mega drive..
