What a funny person you are, where you can’t see that City have overtaken you as the best team in Manchester. Yet you want them to win the league. You ‘lolz’ about Liverpool, when you’re not even the best team in a 10 mile radius.

Yes, lolz Liverpool, and lolz to the Europa League. Enjoy.
lolz

We all know why loads of you have infested this place, but it'll take care of itself.

As long as it's not Liverpool.

We've been absolute shit recently and watching us has mostly been miserable, but watching this insufferable lot have an almost perfect season but still win nothing still gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Yep, it's bitter and smalltime, but I honestly do not care. So funny that all the spending and the Kloppity Klopp hype will lead to nothing.

But it's not just about wanting them to win the league, is it? It's more about wanting Liverpool to not win it.

You'd want the same. No use being bitter about that.

Enjoy the best cheerleader manager trophy, its all your club has to show for
Brilliant, I like that.:D:D:D.
Did any one else note how restrained compared to Liverpool and Klopp City and Pep were when the final whistle went?
They know there is still a job to be done. For the god knows how many games now those bloody scousers have been celebrating the end of a match like they have just won the treble. Rather pathetic.

LMAOOO you have not won the title in 30 years... THIRTY! now get that little club talk off of the forum of the best club in the land.

City has A LOT to do to overtake us. In fact I would argue they have a Better chance of overtaking Liverpool before they do United:lol::lol:

Jesus, when a Spurs fan starts having a pop, you know it’s comedy hour.

Really? Spurs...Really?

I am happy to be of amusement to you lot on here. This is the general football forum, so I will speak about football in a general sense, hopefully without threats to ban me, which I find strange, considering I haven’t been a wum or insulting to anyone.

Honestly, 10-15 years ago City were nothing, the money has come in, the players have come in, the trophies have come in, the stadium has come in, Pep has come in, the training ground has come in, the sponsorships have come in, the recruitment team has come in, and the team will now win the league 2 years running, with 99 points a season average, leaving the other team in Manchester over 30 points behind.

I get the Liverpool jibes, why not, I’d be the same, but if Everton won the league 2 years running, and we finished 6th or wherever you are, and the type of investment had been thrown at all levels of the club, I’d be nervous, very nervous.

I wouldn’t be celebrating, but maybe my mentality is wrong. Maybe the Spurs fan is right all along, let’s celebrate other teams, with 94 points not winning the league, and forget about how poor and average we are ourselves. Spurs fans would know, there used to it, having been brought up with it.

Let’s be caught up, overtaken, and find ourselves 10 years down the line, mid table wondering where it all went wrong.

Lastly, to those who struggle to read. I said City are the better team, and not the better club. They have not overtaken UTD. I am not stupid, but being the better team is not up for debate.

Since City last dropped points, Liverpool have dropped eight (four draws). We can all count quite a few wins thrown in there which were quite fortunate as well, so Liverpool are lucky that it’s not even more draws they’ve had in this post-Christmas run.

They’re not in City’s league and it’s an absolute marvel that they’re still so close to them in the table. The league should’ve been over weeks ago but the one saving grace, I suppose, is that it prolongs the Vermin’s suffering another while.

After all the Salah dives, the Mane dives, the Fabinho dives, the last minute winners, the goal-keeping howlers, your incredible fortune with injuries, Carra, Thomo, Sourness, Mcmanaman and the rest of the Liverpool-led media creaming their pants every week, and the general alround cheating that your horrible club has indulged in from the first day of the season to the present day, you may end up winning absolutely sweet feck all.

30 years, lad. Let that sink in, imprint itself, reverberate inside your head. 30 long, hard, gruelling years without a league title to your name.

I would save the worry for your boys. If you don't win anything with the breaks that have gone your way this year, when will you?!

Look, there is a lot of Liverpool fans here and they don't have any problems. In fact i saw few times that mods protected them against some posters. Why? Because they didn't break main rule for every oppo poster on any forum. You just can't make a rant about United or United fans on Man Utd forum.
And you did just that

This is ignored a lot in this race. Yes they're up there in terms of points, no taking that away from them.

But actually watch City play and watch Liverpool play. There's definitely a difference.

They’ve had more luck this season than a Euromillions winner. They won’t come this close again. It’s actually mad how horribly jammy they’ve been.

First of all no one's going to ban you if you behave yourself. We just find it amusing because you're genuinely upset right now. Yes City has raised the bar for everyone, and we still have mountains to climb to get to that level, but they've been around for a long time now, it's nothign new. Your campaign however, do you think you can keep it up? Win it this year, and you would've had a team of champions, to further strengthen and build around, possibly winning more in the future. You are already a force in the CL. But you very well might have missed that chance and that's why the stakes were so high, and worth celebrating your demise. That is all.... go enjoy your season highlights, you've played well, but maybe God just isn't a liverpool fan .

Shite like this is why I don't understand any neutrals who want Liverpool to win the league. Imagine the arse licking and cringe if they actually won anything of note

Started my post by saying we've been crap, didn't forget shit. Supporting us has been a chore in the second half of the season, hence why getting joy out of the failures of others is what I'm falling back on.

I'm celebrating because your fans are (predominantly) a bunch of absolute weapons and the media love in for your club makes me want to throw up. Watching you fail (and failing so gloriously) is beautiful and exactly what a lot of your supporters deserve.

We're used to it? Hilarious since you've been shite and average for so long now. Liverpool have one strong season where you spend gazillions and suddenly you're all talking about other clubs and their small time attitudes like you're big timers, you're a has been club and will remain that till you actually bring some fresh trophies to Anfield. For nearly a decade you've been even worse than us (yes, spurs) a little club from north london. This season you've been brilliant but again, you're still going to win nothing and it all may count for nothing in the long run.

And yeah, I'm aware about all the issues with clubs like City, I recognise them. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to go for a massive hahahahahahhahahhaahhahahahahahhaaaaaaa at liverpool football club because you deserve it. I hope Salah cries himself to sleep tonight.

Exactly, this is the season the penny dropped with them the nation likes to laugh at them

There's gonna be carnage in that fanbase once city beat Brighton

Sad thing about Liverpool 2018-19 is that for some reason they think the PL is now about them vs City for years to come. Ha!

They are 20 points ahead of the rest this season. I see no sign it will change next season either.
