I've began to think he's in it for himself tbh. The amount of times this season he's had his head down thinking about scoring instead of passing has frustrated the hell out of me, and when you're going for a title your primary penalty taker takes it if he's on the pitch.

He should've picked the ball up and given it to Milner without a fuss.
Yeah. From a nice guy last year he turned to a selfish egoist this year.

He has been frustrating this season. That being said, he's a striker and they tend to be selfish.

Last season certainly turned his head. I start to believe it might be best to sell him and get Jadon Sancho as replacement. As good as Salah is, he is not irreplaceable.

Completely agree, Firmino or Mane are the two hardest to replace. He runs hard and his holdup play is amazing for his size, but he hasn't been passing since his goal drought started. He's definitely class but I feel like this year is what we should expect from him going forward. He's a hell of a player and I am not saying sell him, I am just saying it feels like Mo is feeling Mo a bit too much.

that 4:0 thumping is an omen for man city btw. now united have to choice but to try against city, and because they failed to score against everton....

Think we'll draw against City. Then it'll be up to Liverpool to hold their nerve in two not so difficult games.

No way Liverpool won't drop a point in the coming matches, even if we beat or draw City I still think City will win the title by the end with Liverpool dropping more points.

Cheaty Mo & Mane are just not that sort of player are they? Big Foot puts Bobby in the team to do the linking & passing isn't it?

Except for the fact this time Liverpool is going to win this title.

He is in it for himself.

During the poor run when there were a couple draws, he played rubbish for some of those games and missed a lot of chances and didn't pass to Mane/Firmino for some of them. He didn't show much reaction and in fact I clearly remember him walking off smiling against Everton when all the fans were down since that was the game where they lost the lead on top of the table. He walked off smiling even though he played rubbish and Liverpool lost the lead against City. wtf?

But I remember a game where his personal record (something about Salah being the first to score however much goals in however much games) was on the line and Liverpool were actually winning the game. He missed a chance in the end and I have never seen a player so devastated before. He literally almost cried. I think it was the Fulham game. It was beyond obvious he was thinking about his personal record only.

Also the cringey comments about him literally admitting he wasn't thinking of passing the ball to Firmino, making fun of Henderson for not scoring for however much games and talking about how he's just as good as Aguero this season.

He just comes off really arrogant and selfish this season.

I'm proud of our lads after that performance.

When you're throwing a game, it's best to show a little fight in order to make it look convincing enough.

They were convinced City were going to drop points tonight, weren’t they? I can picture them now, completely dumbfounded at home contemplating what they just saw. Marvellous win and performance from a injury-hit City tonight, in striking contrast to the shite Klopp served up at Old Trafford when we had eleven first-teamers absent and had put out the stiffs. They had ONE shot on goal that day. That’s the difference in quality between City and Liverpool, and the biggest indicator that City deserve to win the league.

I was a bit concerned at HT. But we were properly woeful in the 2nd half.

Job done, anyway.

City still have the tougher league fixtures but Liverpool have two massive CL games to cope with. Still 50/50 for me.

Regardless of CL City are/would have won out anyways as they will now.

Liverpool can’t do anything about that. They let it slip away again by dropping points to let City get ahead

Different circumstances. Man Utd were doing well. In any other season a draw at OT wouldn't be a bad result.

A good season for us. We can push on next season and try again. We are ahead of all but City.

Ideal results all round tonight. Wolves thumping arsenal, doing us a favour! Bring it home Citeh :D. If you lot end up losing the title on 97 points, that’s gotta fecking sting.

Nah, they will have a small parade as moral champions of 2018/19 season!

Imagine going from thinking your biggest rivals would hand you the title to losing the title to your second favourite manager, Benitez. Would love it if they lost to Newcastle and that cost them the title in some way. A lot can still happen though...

Champions League is still the biggest club trophy in Europe. By far. It don't matter what some random dudes in Manchester think. Liverpool winning the Champions League will mean they have had a far more successful season than City. Bottom line. This squad and the Liverpool foundation is set to dominate for the next 10 years. Manchester United will most likely end up worst next season than this. .

I honestly feel United is the new Tottenham. Forever languishing between 4th and 9th.

Tonight’s result must really have hurt you.

If City beat Burnley and Leicester they will win the league.

They won't. Not Burnley. City is completely exhausted and shot at this point. No legs in any of their players. They only beat United because United have been playing like a relegated spineless coward club the last 6 to 8 matches. It's the same as playing Huddlesfield at this point. Burnley on the other hand is on absolute fire. You can say they are the third best club in the premier league over the last 4 matches. Only City and Liverpool have been more impressive. It's all about current form and Burnley is on red hot form. They are also rested and refreshed. They will go into the City match fighting 100%. City WILL drop points at Burnley. I will not be shocked if they lose, I definitely see City playing a draw.

It's funny, people think United was going to be City's biggest obstacle. All along it's been Burnley.

I tell you what mate, you'll end up in the mains in no time. Quality is there for all to see.
