I have come to terms with it, i just want them to lose a game now...will be truly unbearable if they go the whole season unbeaten

That's how a champions side plays - well done Klopp for building this pressing machine (again!)!

Any other season I'd say they're believing in their own hype and will get suckerpunched.

The real reason while they'll probably win it is the defence. They've tightened it up.

City this is all on you!!

Mourinho was an incredible manager. But Klopp is king right now. Fair play for them getting him and sticking by him. They won't be going away anywhere I don't think. Need us to get our next manager decision right.

They are probably the best team in Europe right now.

Arguably yes and this is what I was talking about ca. two years ago - and everybody was laughing at me back then!

Give Klopp time to build his machine and he will deliver. Big plus for him nowadays is that he has the financial fire power himself to buy + keep top talent unlike at Dortmund.

While we wasted nearly three years with a football dinosaur praising ourselves for past achievements the Scousers have steadily moved ahead in developing their team and tactics. They deserve this season and hopefully they will crown themselves champions at the end!

This season, yes.

In a greater sense though I feel we're the ones to blame. For so long Manchester United kept this great evil at bay but the ineptitude of recent years has finally doomed us all. I cry not for myself but for the children.

There is absolutely no way you support the same club as me

You're gonna do well to get to 1,000 posts on this forum :lol:

I never understand people claiming this. Because you don't agree with his views on Liverpool he can't be a United supporter?

Try walking into the railway pre match and saying Liverpool deserve to win the league. You don’t say shit like that when you bleed Utd.

Had some arguments regarding the same reason at the beginning of the season and I still don't understand the fuss about this. Whether Citeh or the Scousers lift the PL none is better than the other...

At least I have always liked the Klopp way of football since his Mainz days and on the other side never got the hype around Pep - so in this instance I would rather chose Klopp than Pep.

Why?

Because I acknowledge what they have achieved while we were living in the past for two and a half years?

It's one thing to think they'll win, to see that they deserve to win, even to acknolwedge that some sick and disturbed unfortunates somewhere might take pleasure in them winning. Actually hoping they will win is morally repugnant though and should be condemned by all.

It would be rubbish if Liverpool won it, but it would be yet another eye opener for us, we need to start challenging for the league again as soon as possible.

You don't get to dictate how others support the club.

I have absolutely no issue dictating that a person who has those beliefs around Liverpool winning the league cannot be a united fan. And if he is he shouldn’t be.

You surely have to realise that Liverpool winning it is far far worse than a state backed infinite money lottery team winning it surely?
Plus the fact that unless you live in Machester, the Liverpool/City ratio of fans you'll deal with is outrageously biased to the former. I'd say 99% to 1% where I am, if that.

The best bet is to relax, allow it, accept they've won it.

Then you never know, like a few years ago, you might get that massive lift if they screw it up.

He'll be banned unless he reigns this nonsense in.

Exactly! We need to move forward and not live in the past praising ourselves for our great heritage and what we have achieved - that is what the Scousers were doing for a long time and what nearly cost them.

Hope our club makes some right decisions this summer!

Agreed, I think it would be much worse if they won the league with us just behind them. We're not even in the conversation for winning the league this season that's what bothers me most.

Theyll still be one less than us - ' Come back when you get twenty ' !

City can win tomorrow and then beat them and it'll be back to 4 points.
