The comparison with Varane is stupid. Partly because Varane is the first French player to play a match in his domestic league, partly because Varane didn’t attend any celebrations but mainly because LOOK AT WHERE FRANCE AND ARGENTINA ARE ON A MAP YOU CRETINS!!
If we can believe the news, also Conte is concerned/annoyed with Romero. It seems he expected him in time for the Brentford game, but the Argentina party boys changed their plans and extended their celebrations.

Fair enough, TBH I think ETH did the right thing, I'm fairly sure he thought we wouldn't need him vs Forest as it proved, it also showed that we can use Shaw as a CB if need be though preferably not too often, we've already found out that Casemiro can also play there so all-in-all we've learnt some things we might not have
So back in training, will probably start vs Wolves, with Shaw at LB and Malacia back on the bench. Dalot only one missing now.
Not sure who you think are the non- party boys? The issue seems to be that the coaches didn’t even seem to know when their players were coming back.

Yeah he's absolutely world class because he played well there against one of the worst teams in the league who offered no threat at all.
Other than that I don't see the fuss over Martinez, arrived back when he was supposed to as long as he hasn't been drinking and fecking about for 10 days solid he should be ok to play against Wolves.
