Honestly don't care what he gets up to in La Liga, and I hope he breaks the CL knockout stage scoring record in their next 2 games.and in turn dismantled your weekend
Did I say anywhere that "he" had a good game yesterday? Just find it quite funny how "some people" are so quick to go OTT with their Messi praising, perhaps they'd consider waiting till he plays some big games in the CL or at least tops the scoring charts?
I'm not getting drawn into another argument about it in this thread. Why? Morons like yourself don't wait until Cristiano plays well against a bigger side before you praise him.
As usual, you're incredibly hypocritical. It's funny that you still can't admit Messi is the better player.

Agreed...Let's take this debate to the MvR thread, unless you want this thread to get closed again.

"He" has been the better player for the last couple of years, Messi IS the better player so far this year, 1.5 months in...
I've dug up the other thread if anyone feels like another argument.Saying "he" instead of Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't mean you aren't being drawn into an argument
He's broken Luis Figo's record as the most assists in La Liga history. To score the most goals and have the most assists (107) is just mind boggling. Best player I'll ever witness.
Barca have scored 55 goals in the past 15 games. You wonder how much of that is because of Messi coming back to form.
*since 1990, which is as far back as any reliable info on assists in La Liga goes. Before that it's just guess work (guys like Di Stéfano and Gento would probably have racked up quite a few assists too in their day)... Still, verifiably the most assists in the last 25 years is also quite good.
Yeah, should've added that. It's a tricky stat that can be misleading or hard to measure at times. Still a brilliant feat and to manage to be at the best at both is just great.
He's already on track to break his personal record of most assists in a season.
Honestly I don't believe that.Honestly don't care what he gets up to in La Liga, and I hope he breaks the CL knockout stage scoring record in their next 2 games.

He actually took it easy. Weird thing to say when he scored 4 legit goals but my experienced, professional Messi eye tells me he was pacing himself for the City clash next week.
He's made a good start, but the CL and Copa America will ultimately mean much more than La Liga games against the likes of Levante.Looks like 2015 is his year.
Fixed for you Cal?He's made a good start, but the CL and Copa America will ultimately mean much more than La Liga games against the likes of Levante & Atletico Madrid etc.
That pass
He actually looked at him before receiving the ball.
How can anyone maintain an average of a goal per 88mins in their first 300 matches. Insane player.
Haven't watched Barcelona much this season, so does Enrique deserve any credit for getting him back to his god like level?
