dropping 3 points to a predictable and boring villa side at home is worse than arsenal beating you on your own patch.
Look at our season so far, then look at Liverpools. When you do, then tell me who has been the bigger laughing stock.
i wasn't talking about our whole seasons....just what happened over the weekend fixtures. dropping 3 points at home to villa was more embarrassing than dropping 3 points at home to arsenal.
not reflecting on the whole season. just the fixtures of the weekend. i have lol-ed a lot at liverpool this season and season's prior..but usually on weekends/midweeks when we've taken care of our business.....all i am saying is that it is tough for me to be in the mood to laught at liverpool THIS weekend, while i'm still irked by our debacle yesterday.
I just can't see how our loss yesterday was more embarrassing than Liverpool's today. The reason Liverpool's was more embarrassing was because they played their best possible team whereas Arsenal were hit by some injuries (namely their best striker) and they still won. Also the shit keeps coming at Liverpool and they can't seem to get out of the hole they're in. It's embarrassing as feck.
because arsenal (or any of the top four) have the ability to take points off another top four team even away regardless of form...such is the quality of these sides. however losing 1-0 to aston villa at home...who play some of the most predictable shite in the league while playing with only one striker, is disappointing. in my disappointment with our performance, it is tough for me laugh at liverpool this week.
now if we go and hammer wolves in the midweek and they drop points vs. wigan, i will then be in the mood to laugh at liverpool.
I can't understand this thing that it's embarrassing to lose to Aston Villa. This is a team who has massively improved the last year or so. This season, they've already beaten Chelsea and Liverpool, now they've beaten us. They are clearly far from shite, give them some credit FFS.

Exactly. Look at the other teams around them in the top half of the table - beat us, Chelsea & Liverpool. Drew with City & Spurs, so they haven't dropped many points to the teams closest to them.

And Villa have beaten Liverpool at Anfield and Chelsea at Villa Park.
But they won't be by the end of the season cockend. His point stands - you can lose to Chelsea or Arsenal because Drogba or Arshavin will shaft you in an instant. Villa don't have that quality.

I wait to see what happens when you play them next, i mean so far they have taken 9 point off Liverpool/Chelsea/United this season and last they did very well against Asnl so lets just wait and see how this pans out
Maybe so, perhaps they will end up finishing 5th or 6th. I don't think they've ridden their luck though, the league table doesn't lie. They are where they are because they deserve to be, because they've gotten results.
