Let's all laugh at England

Great post, it’s been disgusting to see a small minority of the England national teams fans talking about anti-England racism (while saying worse about other countries), and yet haven’t once denounced the actual racism we’ve seen.

That one is a copper who has ignored the racial abuse some of the English players have seen (after doing amazingly well) is incredibly troubling, just because they don’t want a word of criticism against their team.

Oh shut up you hypocrite, you didn’t tag me earlier. You’re behaviour has been utterly shameful

What?

If lying about people to try and slur them is your thing thats fine. You didn't even understand what ethnicity meant the other day after trying to patronise me and others in the thread.

Grow up.

Remember when England lost on penalties against Italy in the final?

Good times.

I obviously meant race, as when someone cries foul about racism against the English, I think that’s an incredible disservice to those actually affected by racism, the same way that when I’ve seen the many comments about Wales recently on here I wouldn’t call them racism as to demean the word, or to score silly internet points.

You’re the prime example of you can dish it but you can’t take it

Read this and learn from it
The sad fact is that the whataboutism (the others do it too) and fatalism (there is nothing that can be done) that, on evidence of this forum alone, is quite prevalent, is a passively supporting factor for it to continue.

If there was an appropriate amount of outrage, calls for action, and political will to act, this would have a significant effect. We know this because things improved noticeably in club football when such action was taken in the late 80s.

It doesn't really matter why people do it, unless it is pertinent to a proactive solution, whether others do it, unless it is pertinent to international collaboration to resolve it, or how much, except to measure how much there needs to be dealt with.

The bottomline is that it is too much, action is required and everybody ought to be on that same page instead of offering arguments for why it is better to shrug our shoulders and offer thoughts and prayers instead.

Jesus it’s a lot saltier in here than I was expecting. Take it on the chin lads or just stay out of the thread if it’s winding you up. Everyone gets the piss taken out of them in football, it’ll be someone else’s turn soon enough.

It's not about dishing it out and taking it you absolute child. No one gives a feck about that. Jesus wept.

You speak as if it's not possible to be racist against someone who is English. You clearly thought that as you tried to argue that it didn't fit the criteria until it was explained to you that you were wrong. Rather than accept it you're still at it today and have decided to lie about what you think my thoughts on racism are in some sad veiled attempt to slur me and what I do for a living. Absolutely pathetic. If you had any idea of what I've been doing in work since the final perhaps you'd wind your neck in.

Just accept you were wrong and leave the personal jibes eh. You'll look much less stupid if you do.

Well I’ve just served a forum ban, ‘I’ as an Englishman, getting a forum ban because I told someone who was attacking England/it’s culture/it’s history that basically your nation and history doesn’t smell of roses either (namely Ireland), clearly the Irish mods didn’t like that.

And when they haven’t banned pure English hate on here, especially from that ‘Glaswegian’ clown the anti-Englishness nature of the RedCafe has been shown to all, so with that I won’t be spending too much time on here.

So I’m just going to be that arrogant English twat everyone seems to think we are and say to those laughing at England’s failures, what language are you all speaking in again? Oh that’s right ENGLISH. That says to me we haven’t failed too much.

England having the best league in the world, dominating the Champions Leagues, 2 English clubs in finals and English players being stand-out players at these clubs and England developing talent for all the world in English academies, shit loads of money, most investment at grassroots, our u21's teams dominating and the senior team finishing runners up at the Euros but not actually getting beat, says to me it’s just a matter of time.

'It’s coming home' sooner rather than later and the truth is you all fecking know it deep down and once we do we will dominate and then you will have something to hate us for because England winning will just be the norm and as said due to all the money/investment there is in English football, aswell as the Premier League which is about 3 leagues ahead of any other there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Last laugh

 <-------

Because I’m English and we always do.

The absolute feck is this???

Is that the quickest forum ban in history (anyone know)?

Profile says only joined Friday, banned just after.

It's like a Caf remake of the Craig David song

We’ll it doesn’t take much on this forum, say your English and that’s it, which is retarded since this forum are ‘apparent’ fans of an English football club. I’m sure I’m not the only proud-Englishman to be banned the last few days and over the years for that matter, thing is people don’t have a voice to come back and say what twats the Irish forum creators are.

But that’s the RedCafe, reading posts on here saying if England fans was a club it would be Liverpool, well if that’s the case thank feck we aren’t Manchester United fans that’s all I have to say.

If the RedCafe was a country it would be North Korea in how it silences English people who are proud of their country, but allows pure hatred towards anything English.

feck the mods aka the unpaid bog cleaners, there’s something to ban me for.

Mate, this is just cringe. Its really not that serious. Stop taking the caf, Euros etc that seriously. Its all banter. In a couple days everyone will move on to the next drama, myself included.
No one honestly really cares that you're an Englishman that got banned from the caf. No need to announce your impending departure either, this isn't the airport.

You talk about cringe and you’ve just used the most cringe line there is in that “it’s just banter”, is it feck “just banter”.

I hate how people throw ‘hatred’ around and then hide behind ‘it’s just banter’ shite, no it’s not.

I haven’t lied about your thoughts on racism once, I just pointed out where your prioritise lie.

Any Englishman, or Brit for that matter, complaining about racism against them based on their nationality is no different to a white man pushing his way to the front of a BLM rally to complain about racism against white people.

Some people take it on the chin and learn what they could do differently to not get banned again. Others pick a fight with the creators of the forum. The second is a bold strategy, let’s see how it pans out.

I was going to say anyone who thought chiellini or shawberto were defenders of the tournament hadn’t seen @TheReligion effort in these threads, then here comes @Sancho7 to clearly win the award

I mean @Sancho7 HAS to be taking the piss, right? Right???? Absolutely amazing parody of an englishman breaking bad

It's genuinely astounding the lack of self awareness some people have. Also, @TheReligion, you've demonstrated time and time again over the years that you cannot distinguish between criticism of your country, and criticism of you as a person. I think you're better off avoiding threads about England, some of the stuff you're coming out with is ridiculous, on par with 'white lives matter'.

Let's all be totally honest, this thread is made up of 50% people who are teasing England for losing in typical England fashion which is so typical that it is definitely comical.

40% people who have a legitimate complex about England and are using this as an excuse to dig a country of tens of millions of different people out and then say "It is just banter" when they are called on being weird as feck.

10% English people who are willing to laugh at the England national team doing what they do best (building hope then losing!) but calling out the 40% on being fecking weirdos when it comes to England (the country and people, not the national football team).

Did you get banned for saying you're English or for saying the country of Ireland smells of shit?

What's that poem, "first they came for the socialists but I said nothing, then they came for the for trade unionists and I said nothing..." and ends with "then they came for me but no one said anything because there was no one left", or something like that?
It's in the Holocaust Museum.

Brilliant, whether it be applied to race or simply eroding institutions and layers of protection/checks and balances in the name of <insert excuse that works like a red rag to a bull>

Again you have absolutely no idea in the slightest as to where my priorities lie or about what I do so let's leave it there.

You were happy enough to accuse me of being anti-English (which is a serious slur, at least in your eyes) and when I asked you to produce a single post showing that, you couldn’t.

So fine, we’ll leave it there, we’ve both said our piece.

Hes my new favourite poster, please mods don’t ban him, can I vote to promote him??

I second this, he’s a genuine laugh riot

The UK is unique in that we are a union, in that union I don’t think it’s unfair to say England are the queen bee of the nest, we are the ones who hold it all together and in this union English people are the ones who can’t be patriotic as we have to bend over backwards for the union and have to be all politically correct for the union. The only time English people can be patriotic is times like this, so because of that ‘unionists’ ie:- people who are proud to be British but not English, hate that.

They hate St Georges crosses on cars and houses/hate people singing English songs and hate people being proud to be English, once England goes out, this stops so they are happy, these very same people will also no doubt be remainers and many remainers have now turned anti-Britain and hate patriotism in general.

The only major footballing nation who may be similar to the UK is Spain, the Catalan part of Spain are very anti-Spain and many wanting Spain to fail, also I might be wrong on this one, but is there a divide in Germany? A large part of Germany’s success in football is from West Germany, is that divide still there in a football sense in that eastern Germans refuse to say ‘we’ in Germany’s past success as West Germany?

As for everyone jumping in on England on this thread (largely Irish/Welsh/Scottish) I don’t blame you, it must be frustrating as we are neighbours, share an history, but you see England living like kings in a sense - A major footballing power, having the best league in world, all this money, all this investment in football, all these great players throughout the years and basically just having our scraps we don’t want, ie:- a Phil Bardsley or maybe even Patrick Bamford (who Ireland have got there eye on), I can see how that can be frustrating.

The only thing we haven't had is sucess at international level for a long time, this was the only thing they could taunt English people with, now we are in a final Sunday with a good chance of winning, they may not have anything anymore.
Yeah lets all laugh at England reaching a final, not getting beat on the pitch.

Little country jealous folk, we'll be there again.
Oh right, your history smells of roses doesn't it or so you lot like to think it does.

Here's some news for you, your country stinks of shit, even shitty than England's, certainly shitter at sport, England's aim is to compete against the world, your sport is all about 'beating' England or in Scotlands case getting an heroic draw (they are still celebrating that now).

An Irish person laughing at England losing a major footballing final is like a leg amputee laughing at an able bodied person running and falling over.

If pointing out that is possible to offend English people by making lazy, stereotypical slurs based on their ethnicity is wrong then fair enough. That's your opinion.

Given how many of these people seem to be middle-aged, I reckon it would actually be a lot easier to clean up than the hooliganism of the 80s. These people have a lot more to lose if they faced consequences than young people. Careers built over decades, families, etc. They act out because they have a clear, and so far justified, expectation that they will get away with it.

Well, this thread is still like a burning house.

Thank god Italy won, as some posters would be unbearable if England won, having already used words like xenophobia, whataboutisms, etc about any rational critique of brutality and a stupid culture amongst english fans. Can only imagine the douchebaggins on this forum had they won.

Still laughing, aye
