Honestly, the only position I'd like to strengthen is left back, but like everuone I'm hoping shaw can come back and realize his potential.
We do not need centre backs, Valencia should be solid enough at RB (though I'd like to see tuanzebe developed there) midfield is on a par with anyone In the league and interchanging martial/rashford lukaku/ibra as the main goal threat should be enough in attack.

I think the only way we will is if another club goes after a player on our watchlist at a price that we would compete with. Or maybe Sessegnon with a loan but I am not sure we would have the timing on that right and might prefer that he keeps developing and proving himself (or otherwise) at Fulham before diving in at 30m odd.

Nope, and it's an odd decision. We're lacking in both RB and LB positions, and could quite clearly do with more threat out wide.

I thought we were done for ages but I think we could see either Persic or Lemar join. I doubt they'll be anyone coming in January, perhaps Sessegnon signed and then loaned back to Fulham.

Alexis Sánchez would give us a selection headache at times, but he is a versatile world-class player who I honestly believe would be the difference between 1st and 2nd in the Premier League.

Yes I agree. The problem with the likes of Young, who looks surplus to requirements, is how high his wages are. Then we have a lot of young players who need loans (Tuanzebe, Mitchell, McTominay, Wilson, Riley, Willock, possibly others).
