Not an 18 year old defenderEvery defender was 19 once. One to learn from.

Why the 'wow'? It was an astutely observed point.
Exactly - and you'll find established superstars having a bad game against a seemingly inferior opponent (remember Malacia vs Salah in the 2-1 United win in ETH's first season.) Anybody can have a bad game. What will be telling in the case of Yoro is how he responds to it (seems obvious but not everyone seems willing to take the wider view of things here.)Its not a flawed logic cause my logic is any young player can get schooled like that and it doesnt mean he's suddenly bad or not a big talent. Messi or no Messi. Anyway, its was just a bad game for a teenager, people seem to be forgetting his age.
Good learning curve for him, he will need to bulk up a bit as he continues to grow. And not let attackers bully him. The same way De Ligt just steam rolled the winger that was causing Yoro a nightmare. He was immense when he switched to that side.
Yea wasn't good but not too worried. I think long term he could be a very good defender for us.Poor performance today. Very difficult for an inexperienced defender in an underperforming team utilising a less familiar system. Hopefully this does not hamper his development.
Don't disagree yeah. Can't be good for his confidence and I'm not sure he's learning much valuable at the momentGet him out the team. I'm sure there's a top player to come but it'll do his development no good playing in such a disjointed team, especially when you have Evans and Martinez as options.
this is a belter. if you know you know, now I can't unsee itGO HOME ROGER
Well not really, but you know. this is a belter. if you know you know
Agree. Mazraoui was also good at RCB so I thought it was odd Amorim didn't just keep him there and introduce Yoro slowly. Instead we just threw him into it and keep him there. It is to his detriment, no doubt, but we don't have the same room for manoeuvre now that we've run Maz into the ground.Get him out the team. I'm sure there's a top player to come but it'll do his development no good playing in such a disjointed team, especially when you have Evans and Martinez as options.
I honestly think that Mudryk coming into a Chelsea side who were all over the place destroyed his confidence. Obviously Mudryk could just be shite but a young player coming into a badly performing side is a recipe for bad things.
I mean, he's 19. He shouldn't be starting regularly yet - that's young for any position nevermind centre backI'm hoping that this will be one of those magical "omg, he was shite at the beginning" stories before it eventually turns into one of the "arguably one of our best defender ever" endings.
I think they are all getting a bit hung out to dry at the moment, Yoro was no worse than anyone else. Whole setup seems to be highlighting more deficiencies than it gives positives in both defence and attack. Was he any worse than other defenders?
It seems some posters are writing generic posts now.
He is obviously a bigger talent than Kwambala for feck's sake.Should have kept Kambwala.
