Our record with ITK's has been generally been shocking over the years. A lot of people ended up with egg on their faces from what I remember. Wasn't there a West Ham lad on here 5 or 6 years ago that called a few transfers right?
This thread is a muppet's wet dream.
I love it.
Lance is taking a break from the transfer forum.
On Kagawa, regardless of what zorc said, he could end up in Italy as much as england. Two serie a clubs have held talks with his agent, in Italy.
Kagawa seems a more likely Fergie target though. Someone who wont break our measly transfer budget and that City have no interest in

We could get Kagawa for virtually nothing if we offered up Berba in exchange.
Borussia couldn't afford Berbatov's wages anyway. They will have to improve a few contracts and since nearly going bankrupt a few years ago they'll be much more careful with finances. Unless we offer to pay a part of his wages like Real did when they offloaded Raul to Schalke, they won't be interested.
He'd be out of contract and would have to renegotiate wages with whoever takes him on.

With Barrios having left to sign for the newly-rich Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, they are in need for a second lone-striker who can play second fiddle to Robert Lewandowski.Dont they have Reus and Lewandowski? Would they want another striker?
He is though, or I've missed the news about him signing an extension.
We activated his year extension option in order to get a transfer fee. Saf confirmed it a couple months ago.

I cannot understand that logic. We have kept a player we could have sold last summer and not used him, just so we can get a fee for him?
Surely his worth would have been higher as the joint PL top scorer? I think it's very strange management to keep a player you have no intentions of using just for a few extra quid. Are we really that short of funds?
If accounts were true, PSG were willing to offer £18m for him last summer. Why not take that and buy someone who we could have gained some benefit from on the pitch? Some truly bizarre logic at OT these days regarding transfers imo.
Berbatov's handling has indeed been bizarre. We don't know the ins and outs of it but from our point of view it sure looks like he hasn't been treated all to well.
Apparently Fergie has given some interview which implies we should expect a reasonable a level of activity in the transfer market this summer.
The theory is that we kept him as insurance in case Danny dipped, or Chicharito ate a bad burrito.

Al Fungus is an id*ot.
He blames all his shortcomings on everybody else---like losing the title to City.
Al, shut you face---you're over the hill, grandpa!
This passage is from an article in The Mirror
“We’ll assess where we are going in terms of players,” Ferguson said. “We’ll no doubt be bringing players in. Maybe two or three, who knows? It depends on the type of market we’re dealing with and player availability. But Scholes and Giggs are coming to the end so it’s a fact that we have to guard against that. It’s difficult to think you can get a Giggs or Scholes falling off trees.
“Tom Cleverley has got fantastic potential and Michael Carrick has still got years left in him. But we’ll probably add someone to the squad.
Looks like we are after a midfielder after all.

Is that this years "no value in the market"?
