La Liga 2017/18

Seville were utter shite last night. Banega was like two completely different players as he was class against us and atrocious against Atletico.

That's his trademark, if he was able of consistency he'd be one hell of a player

Aye, I've heard that's been an issue with him for the majority of his career. It's clear that on his day, he's a little maestro who's capable of running a game.

Was absolutely hilarious watching this. He had atleast 4 definite yellow card fouls and the ref just refused. Don't think he realized Alba did it intentionally as well or probably won't have booked him either.

Scored 3 goals, plenty of chances to take his shirt off.

That Fabian from Betis looks pretty decent.
I watch Betis a lot and he always stands out. Still not sure if he has the talent to make it at the top level but the signs are good.

I was disappointed Ivi didn't start last night for Levante. He's another player I enjoy watching.

Why Zidane usually when he rests Ronaldo he doesn't even include him in the subs, i mean if Real is trailing by a goal in the 2nd half, having Ronaldo on the bench and ready to play the final 15 mins or so is a very good option.

The ref completely understood what he was trying to do. Very clever from him.

Why isn't Benzema playing tonight? He can't be rested as he's hardly played last few months and has two goals lately so would've thought him starting would've been obvious selection.

It's Ronaldo, he has better things to do.

Leaving Ronaldo out completely is a ridiculous plan.

Why? I don't think they care greatly about this particular game. La Liga is gone, Champions League qualification looks safe so Ronaldo can be rested easily.

Madrid's bench looks so poor in comparison to last season.

Isco is the complete opposite of most players, incredible when he has pretty much no space but when he has lots of space on the counter he rarely does something good with the ball. He's in pretty bad form right now, will be interesting to see if he starts in Paris.

Shocking performance from Real so far.

Should've had a bet on 0-0 when I saw that Real line up, it was 14/1 at kick off.

Espanyol are a tough team to score against on their own turf as Barca and Atletico Madrid have found out recently.

I would never in a million years have predicted this La Liga season for Real Madrid.

Villareal win tomorrow, gap is 7 points.

Real Madrid lose at Camp Nou and Villareal win that weeknd- 4 points.

Villareal beat Madrid on last day- 1 point.

I still fully expect Real Madrid to get top 4, how could they not, but shows you how their big lead could evaporate if they put out more complacent and understrength 11s in La Liga.

Because Ramos decided to stay up front as CF, Llorente had to fill in at CB by deserting his position leaving open space for Moreno to score.

It‘s Madrid not Villarreal that will suddenly turn into Beast mode. They won‘t be fielding their reserve when CL is threatened.

Shame there's no chance of them finishing outside the top 4

Villareal got quite a decent run in, fair few home games I'd expect them to win.

I'm not expecting them to overhaul Madrid but I think they cut can the ten point gap quite significantly.

Zidane will probably start playing full strength teams in La Liga again if that happens though.
