La Liga 2017/18

He's a b**d, but if he was on your team he'd be like 'our b**d'. Almost like a pantomime b**d if you like.

I'm happy he left Chelsea. When on game he is very good striker

Football should not be like that. It's a ridiculous decision.

Quique Setien puts Keegan in the bracket of Big Sam, Pulis.

If you want pure entertainment Betis are a great team to follow. Can't really defend but very exciting to watch in attack and they put together lovely moves at times.

Have to feel for Montella, losing your first league game and it being the Derbi isn't the brightest thing to do.

Will he be able to recover from it I wonder.

That was easily the game I've enjoyed most in a long, long time. It was class. I always had a soft spot for Betis. Used to get their jersey every year when I was a youngfella.

What a derby! Could have easily finished 5-5, albeit Betis deserved it for the way they played in the second half.

Good win for Atletico, with Diego Costa on the scoresheet again. He's gonna be a beast for them along with Griezmann.

Valencia back to the winning way, but i see they are still struggling a lot.

Little Eibar still working their magic. Time for them to finally qualify to the Europa League.

Samper finally getting some good coaching under Paco and breaks leg & tears ligaments in his ankle. Damn shame

I was at el Derbi with my fellow swedes. Had a great weekend with lot of christmas celebrating and hard-candy throwing Spaniards. And the derby was incredibly entertaining and still it ended in disappointment. But overall, this weekend was a spectacular experience and I can't wait to get back to lovely Spain and its people, especially to Seville.

What a brilliant goal. Jordi Alba is great. Always looking to assist. Messi, well..

Having a left back like Alba would add so so much to our team, hope Shaw can reach that level.

how many times did alba and messi combination ended with a goal this season

Messi can beat teams like Levante by himself

It's unfair

This is one of the advantages without Neymar who never linked up well with Alba - the hope is that Coutinho and the chipmunk will restore that left sided advantage

Del Cerro is notoriously permissive with dangerous play, we'll see if Lerma makes it until the end of the match
