So apparently, comparing the 17 games they played this season with previous one, barcelona have got 2 points more out of the same games as they did last season

Surprised at how easily Barca are battering Las Palmas without Neymar.

Wow, Messi almost scored directly from the corner kick, Varas did well there.

Amazing how people quote the goal figures of players for these 2 clubs yet can discount players at PSG

It's a weekly piss take.

The top 5 is pretty tight in fairness, the french league is different. put it this way, how many Europa Leagues and CLs have spanish teams won in the last 5-10 years?

Tottenham and Arsenal have both just won 4-0, and neither is as good as Barcelona. And PSG are still behind Nice and Monaco.

It's amazing how anyone can be bothered making posts like this on a day when Arsenal and Spurs scored 4. After 18 games Barca now have two more goals (47) than Liverpool had after 18 games.

After seeing Barsa scored I knew that we would have that kind of post .
Luckily Madrid have a tough game

I'm sorry, how? Can you explain that to me?

It's pretty simply @giorno, how can people discount the goals Zlatan scored last season (and shit loads did) as being not so impressive because it was only PSG? Yet big up Ronaldo, Messi and Suarez totals every season?

PSG scored 102 goals last season, both Barca & Real beat that. It's the sheer fact that these teams are as much better as the rest in Spain as PSG were the rest in France. That is simply emphasised by the fact that they have won so many CL titles the past few years.

See above @jojojo

My entire point is that Liverpool will not end the season anywhere close to Barca's goal total.

On the other hand the last time Liverpool got close to winning the PL (2013/14) they scored 101 goals to City's 102, and given their defensive issues they'll probably have to do the same again to have a chance of winning it this year. Incidentally Barca scored 100 that year, Real Madrid scored 104 and they still lost the title to Atletico. The difference between La Liga's big two and their goalscorers Vs the others is their sheer consistency.

I get what you're saying but it still doesn't really have much to do with my original point though @jojojo

Given your original point was:
How does anyone watch the shit week in week out? An absolute bore-fest.

It just reminded me of all the other times people ask why Liga watchers bother watching La Liga. So I assumed you meant it's boring because Barca score too many goals. Apologies if you found the match shit and boring for some other reason.

But you didn't respond to that post did you?

I often find these matches boring due to gulf between the big two and anything below 5th place, it's like they are toying with them, it's just that easy.

Sorry if that offends anyone.
