Red card in the last second, another one to artificially enlarge the "Barcelona play against 10 more than anyone" argument

Assuming real win their game in hand, can't see Barca overturning an 8 point deficit. League's done imo.

Not that I think they'd scored in another minute but he really shouldn't have blown the final whistle that soon.

Cheeky bid for Messi time, Barcelona don't look good this season.

Pity that we have to wait until february to play the delayed match and confirm the advantage

How? Simply down to form imo.

Conversation I had at with a Catalan native at work recently. He was pretty concerned about Iniesta, Messi and Suarez entering their twilight years & suggested that Madrid have much better long term prospects.

Madrid have a better midfield, squad depth and a Bale who has a better attitude than Neymar does to be honest. I agree Madrid are better moving forward now.

Once Messi hangs up his boots its going to be dominance by Real Madrid. Even now Barca are Iniesta retiring away from losing their midfield.

I think Messi could do with a new challenge personally.

Hardly world class from Neymar.

Modric is 31 though.

But Real do have better depth than us. Our bench is simply bang average.

Madrid have many key players in that age group as well (Benzema, Modric, Ronaldo, Ramos from the top of my head).

Barca youngsters apart from Neymar don't seem special tbf but well.. they have money to sort it out I think. Question is if they will do so or continue spending tens of millions on players like Alcacer and Turan.

4 extremely clear penalties in 4 days not given. I thought we played a pretty good game away to Villareal tbh and we were unlucky not to win. Madrid has a lot of though away games to play. Nothing is over. We had 12 points lead last season and won the title in the last round.

That's true, but from the outside looking in, Madrid seem to have almost unlimited investment.

I just hope Barca don't move for Coutinho.

Think it's too soon to tell. Bale can't stay fit, Benzema will soon be 30, Rinaldo will be 32 next month and Modric is 31. Both teams are pretty much in the same boat. The thing about Madrid is, you know they will spend whatever it takes on quality players. Can't say the same about Barca.

Madrid have won 10 of 11 games without Ronaldo in the last year. I think they're far less reliant on him than Barca on Messi. Take Messi away from this team and even with Neymar and Suarez, it's really going to struggle. Messi is nailed on to win Ballaodor next year. His level of football this year has been just

I disagree, if Messi plays out of this world and Barca don't win a trophy then Ronaldo will win it because Real Madrid won trophies.

Piqué pointing Tebas, "you have seen it " , what a showman. Yes, Gerard, he saw Mascherano´s hand too

Bale went the whole UCL last season without scoring a single goal and I didn't notice any drama around that. Neymar is not scoring but he's already in 14 assists, the team is playing bad and that reflects in the MSN numbers but it's not the time to bring out the pitchforks against them
