Why does the commentator seem to think the Merseyside derby is anything special? It is utter shite given Everton pathetic inferiority to Liverpool (no win for Everton since 2010; no Everton win at Anfield since 1999!!) and he's listing it in comparison to this game, or to the Manchester derby :lol:
 
Madrid are being able of dominating the midfield playing with 3 ,something that lately never happened against Atlético. Isco is more vertical and Kovacic,although with some mistakes is keeping a good % of passes.
Gabi said some days ago that with Koke in the middle ,Atlético lose some consistency, I wonder if that´s the reason
edit: actually Lucas in playing on the right so is actually a 442

Maybe from a historic point? The Madrid derby was pretty awful most of the time with teams from different "galaxies" and still had some kind of hype

Well he did say something about the Manchester derby being a more recently important rivalry so maybe that's it, but still find it odd to list what must be the most one-sided derby in top flight football since Simeone turned Atletico around amongst the most emotional and competitive derbies in modern football.
 
Great game from Ronaldo so far against a big team, in a big game contrary to his main critique.

Well, Ronaldo pushes Savic, Savic falls trying to get the ball and Ronaldo changes direction from the ball to Savic to get the Penalty like a Russian throwing himself in fron of a car to get the insurance money.

Basically is a foul from Ronaldo at the start and he somehow invents a penalty from all that
 
He's actually looked really good tonight. Far sharper and quicker than I've seen of him recently.
