His aura, the fact that he was a legend of the game must be a big big plus for him.

Exactly.

Can't imagine a player saying " no " to a character like Zidane when talking to him. That player will be idiot.

A lot of times during the season i saw comparisons between Zidane and SAF. Although it is too early point in Zidane's career as a manager to make such claims about him i do see some similarities wich can be only a good thing for the French legend. Congrats to all Madridistas for the title!

Still waiting for FCBarca to claim conspiracy after the blatant refball in Barcelona's favor tonight

As it is the case with the leagues in general, the overall best team won. And that was Madrid this season. Barca has looked like a very inconsistent team, based purely on the genius of some players, very poorly managed and often disrespectful towards the opposition (very much down to the arrogant manager in charge), which eventually has cost them dearly. Madrid wasn't very consistent either, but almost always showed the right spirit when they were put in a bad spot. They wanted it more and showed that on the pitch in ways that Barca didn't manage to do. Can only respect that.

Kroos doesn't seem to keen on that hug. Zidane scratching his head

Disgraceful stuff in Barcelona as usual. No team in history of football get's as much penalties as Barca.

We're not yet there, there's another team that historically beats us to it, but if we keep this pace...

Ishdalar disappeared after the dives :D

Stopped watching at half time, better things to do, thankfully I missed that Alba rat doing his thing

He's actually fairly objective in that regard. Good poster

Hey, thanks.

And congratulations to all Madridistas, deserved title. Hope we can be at your level next year

Of course Barca get two bullshit pens and a bullshit red card so they can beat the mighty Eibar lmao, never change Barca

AT LEAST WE ARE CAMPEONES!!!!!!

REAL MADRID 33 LEAGUE TITLESSSSSSS, NINE MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE!

Congratulations to all the Madrid fans deserved title. Pretty much expected this for many weeks since we have dropped many stupid and crucial points at key stages. The better team won so enjoy your day in the sun Vato, carvajal and giorno and the rest.

Cheers boys, I'm curious to see who you'll appoint for next season.

Who are you guys hoping for?

I wanted Sampaoli but it looks like Valverde. Sarri would be a great choice but if we think in terms of what this board would do it would be a pointless exercise in dreaming. They will announce it on the 27th of May I believe. All the new manager has to do is fix that midfield, obviously ship some players out and really focus on midfield first and foremost and then defence and depth in attack.

Thanks for all your congratulations.I was a bit scared after el clásico but the team answered very well.
Now let's see if we finally can get "el doblete" after so many years

Sure you did. ;)

It's not like I have to excuse myself to you, but whatever. League of Legends MSI finals took place at the same time of the match, want to examine me to see if I lie or I really changed what I was watching? :p

I only know I don't look forward to having Valverde or Unzue as our coach, outside of that... I really don't care who trains us.

The coach thing is just the tip of the Iceberg, whoever comes already knows how we play, the stakes are more in who we can get rid of and who will fix our midfield and right back. This squad needs at least 2 CB's, 2RB, 1DM and 3 CM if we want to go toe-to-toe against you in 3 competitions, and that's counting Deulofeu comes back and we manage to sort our forwards with him, Alcacer and one of our guys who have been playing in midfield the whole season but are really more suited to be Neymar's sub (Arda, Dennis and Rafinha)

It seems like the next manager will be Valverde. Not the most inspiring choice but he's done very well with Athletic and I'll think he'll do well.

Barça aren't much worse than Madrid. Get a proper right back and a starting quality midfielder and you're set imo. The problem is that some of your great players will get old at the same time and they'll need proper replacements in a few years so you can't really afford to make many mistakes in the transfer market. How much do you think you'll spend in the summer?

Real Madrid win the title, and yet some supporters come here to cry about Barcelona getting 2 unfair penalties.

Oh god, how the tables have turned in the last 12 years

Zidane really got helped with the Bale injury. Isco is ten folds better for this side.

That invisible hand working wonders.

Not a Real Madrid supporter either. :p

Just Barcelona get so much penalties throughout the years and some undeserved so.

I've seen Real get some but nothing like as bad as Barcelona getting them.

Right now we have 5 defenders for the next season, and of those 5 Mascherano is one and the other two are Left Backs, even if we somehow manage to fix our midfield with someone to put alongside Verrati and another decent sub + Iniesta, we're going to be really frail in defense.

For the money we're going to spend, I'd like us to return to our low profile signings as they usually work really good (guys like Yaya, Marquez, Giuly, Keita, Rakitic or Adriano for example), with that idea we could really improve the squad for 120/150M tops. Knowing this board we probably face a 150M+ summer, 30+ in a RB, 60+ In a midfielder might be the start, and then it depends on how the sales go, we could spend 100M just in Verratti and Bellerin because who needs to know anymore players beyond top level, right? Not like scouting is really a thing these days in Barcelona
