If that's true the bench players wouldn't have been in a great form as they are now. If he's overusing the starters the bench players would have been dead on form already, but Madrid reached a point when Zidane could play some bench players against Seville and still win easily. This a manager's job.
True they have the best depth in their squad in the world, but without a manager successful in using this depth to the max it's of no use. Don't like the idea of downplaying of manager's role in a team success tbh. If the manager's to take the blame for a failure, he must take credit for the success, if you want to be fair.
Didn't compare him to SAF directly, that's madness to do. My point was SAF was a masterclass in using his squad depth to the max. His rotation was beyond perfect, the best I have ever seen that kept United in the important competitions till last day, that made United the most successful in boxing day in the most congested period of the season while the other clubs were losing points. Since his retirement, I didn't really saw any manager that can use his squad depth to the max as Zidane. If the whole squad is ready to play and fight and all in the form, that's a manager job. He's sure lucky to have such a squad depth any team will dream of, but you need a clever enough manager to use all of these great players together.
Enrique took the credit for the 2015 incredible year just as much as he took the blame this season. Zidane and any manager should be judged based on this. Zidane currently deserve all the credit. One or 2 bad games won't change a perfect season. When he passes through a meltdown as Enrique, we can blame him as we want.
