Lmfao, same story every fecking game Real and Barca plays, scores 4-5 goals. What a shit league.

And people wonder why Messi, Suarez and Neyar scores so much.

Stick those 3 guys in any top four team in this country and they will do the same thing. They are that good.

Vietto scores on the counter attack. Great throughball from Kiyotake. Eibar were on top before that. Completely against he run of play.

Yeah it is a shame but I thought it is a largely ignored priority for the Sky producers in the social network era. Mark Bolton was too stiff but Scott Minto wasn't half bad really. It just got worse from there and the conversations were no longer remotelty uninteresting

How Balague continues to thrive there is one of the great employment mysteries but of course Piers Morgan is popular too

Terry Gibson seems genuinely a fan of the Primera as does Graham Hunter. They would from time to time get some good Spanish ex-coaches & players to visit and provide unique perspectives - an aspect they didn't do enough of, IMHO. But again, the programme wasn't really a priority for the producers - strange considering its popularity

Incredible how they can cut revista de la liga yet fund the abominations that are "in off the bar" & fantasy football (started off ok but terrible now).
Bolton and Minto covered it well and Hunter, Ballague, Gibson & Armstrong formed a good coverage team. Sky paid a lot of money for it this time so it seems petty to dump the highlights show which couldn't have cost much.

You're definitely right that the social network era has changed their focus. Certainly not for the better so far.

Sheesh 10 men Eibar coming back from 0-1 down. And 9 men holding out for a draw. Doesn't look good for Sevilla.
8 > 0 :p
performance was pretty horrible again; that said 8 new starters compared to the match against Juve and two CBs getting injured didn´t help. Ganso doesn´t even last one HT. Now he had to play 90 minutes. So effectively it was 10 v 10 in the 2.HT:wenger:

I couldn't watch after the red card. But until then Eibar were the better team. Caused Sevilla more problems than the other way around. That Vietto goal came out of nowhere. But yes those changes definitely affected them.

Why not, its fun

I don't understand this. Football should be entertaining. Anyway, Messi and Neymar were doing these skills to get the ball away from the opponents. Leganes players continued to play dirty around Neymar all match

Badly worded. I don't have anything against showing skills but that combination of mouthing off to the opponent (Neymar) and refusing hand shakes (Messi) is what makes it classless. Anyone who dishes out must also be able to take it.

Imagine trying the lineup game with Sevilla and Sampaoli?!

One proper centre mid all season, usually n'zonzi, then three start in midweek's game but kranevitter on his own today.

Either Ben Yedder or Vietto start normally, then neither started midweek but both start today.

Then try to guess which 3 or 4 attacking midfielders will play out of 8.

I love Sevilla and I have enjoyed watching them play so far this season but it doesn't feel like a Sevilla team at all. Sampaoli could be a genius wizard or a raving looney.

Wasn't the opponents trying to kick lumps out of them from the first minute? Why wouldn't they mouth off? I would

Eibar was the better team. Still, 8 points is a lot more than expected so no reason to worry. Additionally having to sub two CBs really screwed Sevilla. I also still stand by my pre-season opinion: Some of those player lack individual quality.

Erm, shit leagues still can have great teams if that hasn't cross your mind.
Crossed.

And La Liga is presently the best league around and at the very least one of the two best leagues around. Calling it a "shit league" is a bit weird. Leganes actually played very well in the first half. I'd like to see the likes of Boro and Burnley deal with Neymar, Messi and Suarez.

You write a comment saying that la liga is shit just when the team with arguably the best attack in the world win by four goals margin against a newly promoted team. Precisely the same goal margin with which City won today (I think the "..." that Vato posted in the other thread was about that).
Last week Barça lost against Alavés at home. I honestly can´t see City losing at the Ettihad against Hull, Burnley or Middlesbrough, but who knows, Premier is so unpredictable that everything can happen.
From here it is a matter of hundreds of statistics and comparisons. Did you watch Barcelona´s game?.
In your opinion how many genuine title contenders has Premier League?

Lovely to see Kiyotake adjusting to the league and Sevilla. Having both Kiyotake and Vazquez, Sampaoli as manager, along with an overall nice squad, means I'll try and catch them as much as possible this season.

Las Palmas would be top of the table right now if they hadn't been robbed by the ref last week.

So far i like what i have seen from these two individually. These numbers don't surprise me. Ganso has had a slow start though.

Ganso has as much fitness as me after waking up after a one-weeks bender. He just arrived in a terrible state. He is one of the players, that gives me hope, because he does have a lot of room to improve once he reaches decent fitness levels. These Bundesliga stats about Kiyotake are extremely misleading to say the least. He fits well into the system of Sampaoli, but he is not a top player. The attacking player that stands out this season is imo Vitolo. He is still a bit inconsistent, but he offers quality to cause problems in a way that we lack without Gameiro+Banega.
Joaquín Correa showed some nice tricks and very quick feet. @JuveGER @Midfield Whats your take on him? Any idea why he never really convinced while playing for Genua?

Wait, did you just correct me? lmfao. What an ass you are.

Always amuses me that we still hear the usual myths about La Liga even days after a newly promoted team went to the Camp Nou and fully deserved their victory. Barcelona have lost at home to a newly promoted team and struggled to a 1-0 victory at Bilbao. But apparently score 5+ every week and the rest of the league is shit...

sorry mate, not following Sampdoria at the moment, especially about Correa. What about Ganso at Sevilla? Any luck with his fitness?

np. I was just interested, because he showed some nice skills, but it is way too early for me to say anything about Correa.
About Ganso....I´ll judge him at the end of the season and don´t expect anything special soon. He is totally unfit (by the standards of professional footballer). He looked like he needs an oxygen tent after 30 minutes. The current squad lacks quality both in terms of passing and in terms of creating stuff. He has imo the potential to become the focal point of the attack. We have to be patient and he has to get his shit together. We have a lot of good squad players, who are willing to do a lot of running (e.g. Kyotake), but that alone is not enough if Sevilla wants to challenge for the 4th spot.

Bilbao vs Valencia starts in 45 minutes. Both teams started pretty bad and need 3 points.

This camera angle is terrible. How come La Liga doesn't learn from PL or Bundesliga? I know La Liga uses an overview angle rather than the close action used by PL but this one makes the players look like ants, so far away.

Still far better than the view we got at the Liverpool vs Leicester match.

How played Nani the previous games? Today is hardly touching the ball. Not too convinced about Suárez and Munir playing on the right.

Same as today. But he's a player that can create something out of nowhere.
