Also, Marcelo is so fecking good going forward. In terms of quick thinking and quality of ball there are few left backs better.

Everything was going down the Madrid left in that last 15.

Yeah, that really changed the game.

Isco was fecking everywhere though, completely bossed this game. Really disappointed with James and Asencio today.

With this result Depor and Málaga are in primera the next season

I think he's the best at that, and by far. Slowed down a little at times this season, but when on song his importance to Real's creative play can't be overstated.

This year they may even deserve the CL. A first for many years. :p
tell me again how didn't they deserve it in 2014? why do people assume that they only get weak ties for just one year out of eleven they've won the thing?

Who would you sit? Is Bale injured, maybe he will get his place? Not been as impressed with Bale this season.
Bale is not playing well, especially for the injury, but imagine that he had not been injured in Germany, and that he was available on Tuesday. I would sit him, and many other fans too, but it is not easy to sit players who have that "star level", especially in a match of that significance, it seems that you are pointing him.
The same with Morata, I do not remember a game in which he hasn´t scored, but at the moment of truth, he plays against Sporting and Karim against Bayern, by hierarchy, veterany in the locker room, or simply by his name.
The same with Cristiano, he has had very bad games, but who has the balls to sit him in the half time to give minutes to someone else.

If you win the league and CL then that policy will be proved correct. It seems unfair but is working. It seems a shame that Spanish players are the ones who get shunted aside.

James seems to play every Madrid game worried like it will be his last. He panics a bit too much on the ball and rushes things when he has lots of time & space.

Asencio was poor but I still rate him... I think Vazquez is your worst "regular" player by far. He doesn't seem to offer much at all.

Paco Alcacer upfront and André Gomes starting, from instance I thought they weren't resting many players for the returning leg against Juventus but I guess there isn't much squad depth nowadays and they have a better chance clinging to the league.
