And you're telling me this why?

It might be relevant in the sense that having won an important tournament with his country is relieving him from some pressure although I think it could be more due to the fact they're sitting top of the league, with two pending games, and they're almost through in the next round of UCL while Barcelona is virtually out of it. It's still unexpected him playing him like that, not because I think he's an arrogant cnut but like Downcast said he seems to be at ease now while performing as a sort of hybrid between his winger days and a 9 when he became a more prolific scorer. He's only lacking goals to round off his already good performances but he seems to be ok about it.

He was still behaving cnutish after he won the EURO so dunno if I agree with that theory.

@Acheron has perfectly understood my post. Cr7 has changed.

We could even add Cr7 knows it would be hard for Messi to win the Ballon d'or 2017 if Barcelona fails to qualify for the QF of the ECL and RM wins La Liga.

Moreover, contrary to the former RM coach Benitez, Zidane knows how to treat Cr7 for many obvious reasons.

And to illustrate further my point of view, let's compare Cr7 in 2014 and Cr7 in 2016

Having accomplished so much this year at all levels of the game, Ronaldo had no hesitation in saying that this was the best year of his illustrious career.

“Winning the Euros, the Champions League and now the Ballon d’Or is unforgettable,” Ronaldo told L’Equipe. “This year was the best of my career, both at an individual and at team level.
“For me, it’s a great honour to receive my fourth Ballon d’Or. The emotion is the same as in the past. The dream becomes reality.”

When asked whether he would treasure winning Euro 2016 or the Champions League more, Ronaldo admitted that the former was the icing on the cake as Portugal had failed to capture any major silverware prior to that point.

“Winning a first trophy with Portugal was still missing on my CV. It was one of the most important moments of my life,” he said. “I will obviously not forget about the Champions League win either.

“The difference is that Madrid are used to winning trophies, Portugal had never won a major trophy. I do not want to disrespect the Champions League, but winning the Euros with Portugal was something special, on another level.

“I must thank all my team-mates. You can imagine how proud I am to receive this magnificent trophy.”

In regards to his aim for the future, the Portuguese superstar has made it clear that he wants to continue winning more trophies with Madrid and Portugal.

“What is more important, win a fifth one or win again with Portugal? I think both are important to me. I will try to give the best of myself, as every time,” he said. “The team always comes first for me. I would not have won this trophy without Real Madrid and Portugal. But I would like to enjoy this moment today, I am very happy.”

Dude spare me them novels and detailed analysis please, he was being a cnut after he won EURO.

You're right. Your posts don't deserve any consideration.
Holy c**p are you really contending that Ronaldo changed his approach and behavior because he has won another "Ballon d'or" and EURO?

I mean seriously?

He was still moaning, waving his arms around and complaining at his teammates up until 2 weeks ago.

Do you remember the time when Zidane subbed him off 30 minutes before the end to save him for CL match and how furious he was because of it?

It turned into a huge scandal, he even said few bad words to Zidane whilst coming off which was later exposed. Therefore I doubt that Zidane is a specialist on how to handle him and doubt it even more that he managed to change Ronaldo's behavior or influence him in that way.

I think that the change in his behavior is due to fans booing him and openly asking for him to be dropped up until few weeks ago.

Yeah. Sevilla had to rest in view of the upcoming game against Leicester.
yes. Nasri went off early, Vitolo+Mariano only as subs.
Eibar started really strong, but they put a lot of effort into the game, so it wasn't a surprise, that they would get tired in the second half. 49 points now, so if Real doesn't win their game-in-hand, Sevilla might be still in a shout for the title.

An article in As about one of the keys of Madrid. The players from bench have given the 39.9% of the goals and 42% of assists: Morata 11goals,Asensio 7,Isco 5+6,Lucas 9 assist or James, who although hardly played is the second with more assists(10).
Changing the subject Deportivo lost again. Sporting,Granada or Osasuna tried to find solutions so maybe it's time to sack Garitano before it's too late.
I was thinking of Luis García,the ex Getafe although I don't know if he is training.
In Coruña people would like Scaloni,an idol for the fans, perhaps to be our own Simeone

Darn, I wanted to catch the Sociedad-Villarreal game this morning. For anyone that does catch it, when it's finished, could you let me know whether it's worth catching later?

Fun game at the moment. Both teams missing open goal after open goal.

Big win for Valencia against Bilbao. Barca play Leganés in less than an hour.
Bilbao ended up with 10 men, Laporte injured, so subbed in the first half. Then brought AduriZ and Williams on in the 2nd half for Aduriz to go off injured as well. Bad day.:( Oh and Raul Garcia misses the next league game because, surprise, surprise he got booked.

Barcelona leading at the moment - Messi goal

Barca looks a little better now.. but the little I saw earlier wasn't so good - despite the goal.

Oh dear Leganes equalise!
