Only watched from the second half (and I even managed to miss Atleti's first then), but 4-1 seems harsh on Sporting. I assume it's finished 4-1, I turned it off on about 88 mins because that bellend with the megaphone was driving me insane. Very clinical finishing by Gameiro, and I thought Griezmann was actually level for that disallowed goal. Lacina Traore looked decent, like the sort of a striker that West Ham or Stoke would be after.
Who got the other goal for Atletico?

Love to see Kovacic, Isco & Nacho playing. Pepe, Vázquez, Morata & Casilla on the pitch too, Real really can field nice B teams. Also much better compactness & pressing when the second row is playing.

Ohh i like this new Ronaldo...he's assisting, not moaning, no more sulking at teammates and he's actually making an effort to celebrate with teammates.

Yeah, he's been a joy to watch for some of the last few games. I don't know what happened, but I hope it continues.

True. Must have been the whistles, they've burst his bubble.
Perhaps Zidane has worked with him on that recently. He said after both of Ronaldo's assists to Kovacic (Real Sociedad) and Kroos (Napoli) that the team has specifically prepared for those situations.

Wow he was even standing in the tunnel and patting teammates on their backs as they made their way to the pitch.

Wtf is happening to Ronaldo? He's even taking throw-ins himself and he isn't even falling down after every contact!?

Couldn't watch the game because work

How did we play? It's 2-0 right?

We controlled the game without creating too many chances. Luckily we didn't need to get out of first gear because Espanyol are shit.
First goal was a good header by Morata.
Bale scored the 2-0 ten minutes after being subbed on.

We did our job, let's hope Barca drops more points tomorrow.

You're not giving them--and yourselves too, for that matter--enough credit. I think this was quite a good win for Real. Espanyol have been rather impressive this season, especially defensively.

Yes, but today they were pretty bad.

Espanyol were always bad when I watched them against Real in recent times. Their record over the last 3 seasons is pretty hilarious: 0-0-6, 1-23 goals.

Well, playing against Real tends to have a detrimental effect on most teams, even if it's not always to that extent.

Anyways, they have been surprisingly good this season.

He won a trophy with his country last summer unlike his friend Messi. He's peaceful.
