La Liga - 2014/15

on a side note. I was going to tune into the Barca game but I see Messi's on the bench so I'd rather watch something more interesting like paint dry.

Messi and Neymar on the bench away to Real Sociedad? Is Enrique trying to get sacked or...?

all joking aside.

Ronaldo, 11 penalties half way through the season, that is OBSCENE and it makes his tally FAR more impressive than it actually is.

Also 11 penalties to Ronaldo this season, 1 solitary penalty for Barcelona
That doesn't sound right. How can a team be on course to get 22 penalties in a single season.

Looking forward to Moyes outwitting Luis Enrique tactically tonight

They didn't restart training until Friday, an extra couple of days off over Christmas which ought pay off over the next few weeks.

Bringing Neymar and Messi on with half an hour to go sounds like it could be a great option. Since Moyes arrived Real have had a few games where they've played well in the first half, and collapsed in the second. We shall see.

You can clearly see his work on that play

Great start. Was just about to post, he looks the most relaxed I have seen him since he was managing Everton

Everytime Barça is on Brazilian TV, Luis Enrique benches Neymar. And its always a fishy excuse. He really hates him, doesn't he? I hope he gets sacked

DAVID MOYES IS BEATING BARCELONA!!!!!! WAHHHHHHHHHH OMGGGG

No. Dani Alves starts too much if anything.

Barcelona boring without Messi as usual. Shocking how much their stars defer to him, even more evident when he doesn't play.

fecks sake Enrique, just swallow your pride, admit your team are tumescent without Messi and bring him on already.

What the feck are Barcelona playing at?

I know. Players are fresh from winter break and Madrid lost earlier today. Let's rest Messi, Neymar, Alves etc?

What a clown!

Suarez not on free-kick duty then after Messi? Messi-Xavi-then him?

Rakitić is possibly even ahead of him, he took a few in some Copa del Rey matches (though Suárez didn't play).

But yeah, I also thought Suárez should have taken that last one.

Pedro...such a frustrating player

They didn't start training until Friday after a 12 day break; they were given a couple of extra days off compared to the rest of the squad. They'll probably come on fresh if needed in the second half.

To the one asking where is Canales, there he is.
