La Liga - 2014/15

How are Malaga doing since the goal? Hope they can hold on to their lead.

Not sure, I missed most of the match. Terrible result for Barcelona either way though, very winnable fixture.

Watched the Barcelona game. Far side linesman is either disgracefully out of his depth or biased because some of the offside decisions in that second half were a joke. Messi slid Suarez in for a chance and he's clearly onside and he couldn't wait to put the flag up. The way Suarez was playing he might not have scored anyway tbf.

They never created enough chances to win the game though. Got what they deserved as far as their performance went IMO.

Was a great run on Barcelona overs and Messi scoring. Had to end someday.

Didn't see any of it but sounds like they played poorly regardless of bad mistakes by the linesman. Enrique seems to specialise in fecking up any time they get a chance to take the initiative.

they can kiss the league goodbye. When Madrid were playing like shit they still managed to win games, when barca have played poorly they've looked like what they are, one dimensional and predictable.

Got little to do with Luis Enrique (at least not specifically for this game), he put out the right selection with an eye on City mid-week and the players fcked up with a lack of intensity and accuracy in their play. This game showed what happens when Messi's passing and dribbling is off. Nothing much.

Indeed.

fair enough, I never saw the game just I saw people whinging about his team selection

maybe in the same place you were when barcelona was wining?

Yeah I can't see them winning it either. As before this season they're just so static. If messi doesn't play well they offer nothing.

Don´t know how you can fault Enrique for that dreadful error by Alves and an awful performance by the front trio (specially Neymar).

What a crap pen for Atlético. It's 1-0 Mandzukic. If that's a pen then we would have penalties every match against Godin or Miranda.

Griezmann was already one of the best players in La Liga last season but looks like he's stepped it up a notch in recent months.

So none of the twats saw a red?
Typical Crapalona, biggest cheats and get away with everything.

Mes que un club, if that was Pepe or Ramos we wouldn't hear the end of it.

probably because Pepe and Ramos do it regularly, Ramos has an obscene number of red cards for his age and Pepe has flat out attacked players in incidents that would have seen him jailed if they were on the street

Pepe hasn't done anything remotely close in years tbf. Have a look at his booking history.

It's easy being saintly when you're winning. As for the ref (and the assistant) - big teams and home teams tend to get the benefit of the doubt as do some players. In a 50:50 it'll always be Fellaini's foul that's called. Last night Atletico got a soft penalty, Barca were lucky not to pick up red cards, who knows what Real Madrid will find at Elche tonight.

In other news. Barca got beat by the team in 7th place, which in a league with only two teams and a miracle worker is surely impossible :smirk:

Just the odd penalty or two! :nervous:

2-2 at the moment. Enjoying the match.

Edit: Pen for Sevilla and 3-2 lead for them now

Been a good match. Two incredibly soft penalties.

Indeed.

I'm rooting for a draw. I have a bit of simpathy for Moyes since his move to manage in Spain but Sevilla has Daniel Carriço who is a former Sporting captain. Hope Sociedad scores.
