feckin hell, hard fought 3 points.
Told ya it's gonna be piss easy..
And the answer to the real question was: 1.
feckin hell, hard fought 3 points.
Morata one day he'll be a Getafe legend...
As I mentioned, Levante players after the match had a bit of a meltdown. Summarising:
La Liga would have been over tonight if Madrid lost, so the ref made sure they won.
Now, this is an interesting summary given that Levante's goal was offside and they finished with 11 men despite Navarro elbowing (accidentally on purpose would be my guess) Ronaldo in the first minute.
They did have cause for complaint, Callejon was fouled twice for the penalty, once outside the box then on the line - on the other hand Alonso missed it so it wasn't actually crucial. And during the second half (maybe after the ref saw the TV replays at halftime?) all the 50:50s went Madrid's way.
Conspiracy? Probably just a crap ref, trying to ref a mudwrestling contest.
To add a bit of spice to the night it appears Pepe decided to do a victory dance in the tunnel. Ballasteros (Levante captain) followed him back into the Madrid dressing room, ostensibly to see how Ronaldo was. What happens next will probably be the subject of many retellings but it ends up with Ballasteros grabbing Pepe round the throat and him getting thrown out of the dressing room.
The ref's report also says, a Levante security officer got into a brawl with a Madrid one. The police were called to calm the situation - leaving the Madrid team stuck in their dressing room. The police are due to report today.
Deary deary me - as a wise man once said.
Are you saying we didn't deserve the victory here? If you coudn't see these guys were thugs and shouldn't have finished with 11 men then I don't know what the hell you were watching. I was going to write a little rant aimed at you but you're not worth the minutes I'd need to do this. Your anti Madrid bias is so over the top it's a bit ridiculous to be honest. I don't know how you can even take yourself seriously. What contraversal decisions did they get in their favour? That elbow on ronaldo was never red, and it's difficult to say if they scored from offside, even if they did, it was minimal, impossible to see, while most of the things they got against them only a blind man wouldn't see.

Why would the Bernabau react poorly to Ronaldo? What happened this time?
Barca are going to break the record of points this year.
I honestly think he pictured it way differently at Madrid and he misses the support he had at United. Oh and in answer to your question he's still unhappy about some stuff at the club. Fantastic footballer but he can be such a drama queen.
Still early. Two blips and the record is gone.
I don't even believe they are that close to winning the league yet either.. They were lucky in a couple of games, and if they get unlucky in a couple more everything will be different.
The Bernabeau could also be a 3 point swing. Always silly to make statements this early on. League not even half done.
That was a great assist, how he went past that first player I just don't know.2-1 song
great assist by messi
Has anyone suggested it's crazy to play Ronaldo in a home game where Real kill 99% of teams (i.e. all those not called Barcelona) while he's still recovering with that nasty eye cut, and when they have work still to do in the Champions League in mid-week? If not, then I'd like to officially suggest it is crazy to risk him in this game given the squad they have
- Ronnie, I'm going to rest you tonight.Has anyone suggested it's crazy to play Ronaldo in a home game where Real kill 99% of teams (i.e. all those not called Barcelona) while he's still recovering with that nasty eye cut, and when they have work still to do in the Champions League in mid-week? Make sure the three points are secured first.
- Ronnie, I'm going to rest you tonight.
- But Messi scored two.
- Ahh, okay.

2004 apparently the last time Bilbao won there - can't Real get the job done without Ronaldo tonight? It's only a week since the injury.
Great work from Benzema 1-0.
