8 - @KMbappe is the only player to have reached 8 goals before he turns 20 in the history of the Champions League. Phenomenon.
He isn't 19 yet. Obafemi Martins eat your heart out.

How would our defense fare against Maple , Neymar and co.?
The 9 of them would probably make it difficult for the three of them. How would our defense fare against Mbappe , Neymar and co.?
Absolutely fine i would think. Neymar is Neymar, but I don't buy into the hype with the others just yet. They are playing training games so far. Let's wait until they get into the latter stages of the CL and play some real opposition.
Like when they played Bayern the other week ?
Yes every game. Its not like Madrid league spell has been magnificent so far. In that case the only Teams that would make a real opposition, are Barca and ManCity.Have you seen Bayern this season!
Poor performance by the looks of it last night

He was terrible yesterday. Still think he's being wasted out on the right
Edit: Wow, that Golden Boy award wasn't even a contest, 291 out of 300 votes.
He definitely has the potential to reach the level of Maradona, Pele, Zidane, Messi, and Ronaldo, which is a level above "journalist's world class level".
Once-a-few-decades-talent.
Yes l'Equipe biased as usual. They have to present it as a victory for OM for business puposes.Poor performance but their ratings are always funny.
What do you mean 291/300? Dembele got 149He's had a run of average-to-poor games the last few outings. In those other poor games, he still would make an impact with a goal or an assist, but here he had close to no impact. He also needs to cut down on his diving, I'm sure Neymar will be a positive influence with that.
Still, well-deserved Golden Boy award. What he's done at 18 is nothing short of incredible.

It's 291 points for a maximum of 300, record of the golden boy award. I'm not sure how it's counted but there's usually points for more than top place in these kind of votes. What do you mean 291/300? Dembele got 149

That's true, Cavani also had consistently bad ratings last season despite being the best player in L1.They have always felt the need to belittle great players.
As you know, France Football & L'équipe are partners.
For example- Summer 2015 - Title means PSG should sell Zlatan. Zlatan, thank you and bye bye".
The following season, he just scored 50 goals in 51 games.... and his ratings weren't very great: we are talking about the greatest scorer in the history of the French league IMO

It's compensation for writing about PSG all the time they talk shite more often than not to please fans of other teams.
Neymar’s individualistic nature is spreading, perhaps most worryingly to Mbappé. The 18-year-old also started the season in scintillating style but this consistency has evaporated in recent weeks; he is missing clear chances, trying to take on too many defenders and making poor decisions.
Mbappe is starting to dive more and more too.
Even criticised a ref saying referees should be punished for mistakes too, it is Neymar with the influence.
But sadly the Neymar red card was fully deserves, when already on a yellow it is such a stupid thing to do.To be fair to Neymar, I don't think Mbappe's diving any more than he always has, which is quite a bit when he's losing the ball trying to get past his man.
Also, maybe I'm in the wrong here, but I tend to agree with Mbappe. The referees in Ligue 1 are terrible, and this was one of the most important game of the season and there were some crucial mistakes made by the ref on acts that happened right in front of him. Just a little while ago, another referee sent off the wrong player; if it wasn't so terrible, it'd be funny how bad they are in this league. They should be held to a higher standard if the league is really looking to grow globally. I can't think of a single referee that stands out in that regard, and is capable of controlling a game without resorting to needless red cards to the detriment of the game itself.
I like what I've seen from Letexier so far. It's his first season and he's still very young but I can see him having a great refereeing career. To be fair to Neymar, I don't think Mbappe's diving any more than he always has, which is quite a bit when he's losing the ball trying to get past his man.

He's been excellent and I think right wing is a good position for him.@BBRBB How has Mbappe being overall since joining? Is he looking like he'll one day be worth the money or an expensive flop?
Not sure how he's being playing but surely PSG would benefit from an actual attacking right winger than trying to shoe horn in Mbappe due to the massive investment.
Genuine question, I honestly haven't watched PSG play once this year.
He's been excellent and I think right wing is a good position for him.
Of course vultures are waiting for every opportunity and any reason to criticize him. Marseille away was his first real poor game for us.
Saying refs should be punished is laughable. Perhaps players can help refs perform better by stopping the constant flopping about and playacting and whining. No other pro sport where both teams are constantly trying to cheat and influence the officials.
