We can't do anything until July 1st as that is when the release clause kicks in. Why act like such a child?
Neither can Bayern and yet they are doing the ground work now it would seem ready for when the clause becomes active whilst we what, wait for a turd (Maguire) to finally flush before making a move? That’s not what elite clubs do.
He's got a point, to be fair. Not amateurs in the right sense of the word, but when compared to other clubs' transfer strategy, we really are.

And if we'd beaten them to his signature the same people would've been in here going "OMG why do we keep paying players £250k/week before they've even kicked a ball for us??!"So a player might chose Bayern, one of the biggest names in global football, serial winners, guaranteed league titles galore, and we are amateurs?
Give it a rest.
The first is definitely correct, but I am not sure that Pavard > Kim. And this is coming from a Bayern supporter that values Pavard.Basically giving us more money to spend on the rest of the squad. I’m also sure Pavard will be cheaper in overall price than Kim. So we could always completer that deal and be better off.
Clubs draft bids in the space of hours or less during the transfer window's last hours. If they wanted to, the club could negotiate and wrap this up in terms of payment structure by tomorrow.I’m not sure we will have enough time to prepare a bid if Bayern are in for him. Hopefully we have started drafting it already.

All the reports suggest Bayern are also looking to exercise the release clause. The problem is the release clause is only active during the first 15 days of July, so before then others are still free to negotiate with both Kim and Napoli.
Real Madrid can turn players away from any other offer, (unless player is wedded to the Barca cult, or been offered player-director status and ungodly money like Mbappe, and even then it's temporary ), but since this club hasn't pursued excellence rather than enriching its parasitic ownership, we have to fight it out even for players who might otherwise be 'fans' or favorably disposed to us as they consider about what's best for their career...All the reports suggest Bayern are also looking to exercise the release clause.
In this situation I think it ultimately comes down to the player deciding for himself. If he decides he wants to join Utd then there’s nothing Napoli or Bayern can do to stop up. Unfortunately, I get the feeling he’s not as passionate as joining us as we’d like to believe. He’s possibly open to any good project including Bayern.
Great plan pal. Wouldn’t be anyones fault in that case I guess. Jesus, when will we stop missing out on these potentially world class targets. The fact we have fans parroting excuses not to sign them doesn’t help.We can't move for him until Maguire leaves anyway.
Which might not happen. He might just dig his heels in and decide to stay.
Or more like, move.Other clubs move faster than us. It's just the way it is
Sadly, the Glazers pandering over the takeover has shafted us again.Other clubs move faster than us. It's just the way it is

That’s that then…. Useless club!
Depends if we’re actually trying to sign him or not… the ownership issues isn’t helping. Reports last week were saying he’s agreed personal terms with us and he only wants to join us, now it’s changed this week makes me laugh.Bit of a daft response. It isn't done yet and won't be until July. We can't stop him talking to another club if he wants to and if he fancies Bayern more than us that is his choice, some players don't want to play in a top league and just guarantee themselves trophies without challenging themselves.
A tortoise moves faster then us…Other clubs move faster than us. It's just the way it is
Once the takeover is complete I believe we will no longer keep deadwood as long as we have done under glazers or this “protect the value” with new contracts nonsense. I can see the Qataris in particular getting players out of the club quickly if they don’t fit into plans. Even if it means paying them off and getting rid.Imagine not signing a player because Maguire doesnt want to leave. A competitive club would kick the fecker out. He has to think about his NT place.
We’ve been conditioned to accept it. Going as far back as being gazumped for Robben. Most fans should be numb to the way we do business now. This kind of thing has happened so many times over the last 15 years. Whatever.
The same Bayern that are missing out on Kane, Caceido and Rice?
What is the Kalidou Koulibaly precedent? The Kalidou Koulibaly precedent makes me think as good as Kim Min Jae might be, I won’t be sad if we miss out on him.
The reaction here is bit over the top, and during the transfer window is getting quite ridiculous. Every tweet is an opportunity seized by the Caf to be negative about the club. Reports only said that we were interested, not that we absolutely wanted him.
I think it's just the fact a CB of his quality is costing 43m. Seems like such a wasted opportunity
