Kevin De Bruyne

Unbelievable player - along with Aguero he's the one player that has the ability to win matches for City single-handedly. Didn't think City could get a midfielder better than Silva or Yaya in his prime - seems like they've gone and done it.

Player of the Season. Not "out there" to calling it I know, but he just sees to be having that type of start to a season in which you go on to win it.

Such a likable player too, its a shame.

IIRC I said he was better than Pogba during the Pogba transfer saga and a few felt I was way off. I stand by it. Arguably the best player in the league imo. Unreal player.

His assist for Gundogan's goal was lovely. He's my favourite for POTY this season.

Didn't people say that he won't fit pep's team coz he is too direct for him?

Could well be the next galactico at madrid in a couple of seasons. Ridiculously good and they'll famcy a big attacking signing after their ban.

Quicker? Really? Mata is quick, he isn't fast though...

Don't think KDB is quicker, but he is probably faster due to his height and longer strides.

l

Sounds like Peter Cook's last TV performance. He's rapid, but not speedy. Fast, yet lacks pace. Swift more than brisk, he can motor better than he can take off.

But yeah, Mata is slow as feck. KDB is significantly quicker.

Will make Pogba price seem cheap if they can pull that off. And I'm not sure they could afford someone for that amount?

How come?? Genuine question
He said Aguero, de Bruyne, and Silva were the only true world class players in the PL, kind of agree when you see them play based on performances. Would include DDG myself. The likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Pogba, Hazard, Coutinho are ofcourse brilliant as well, but go missing too often.

He'll probably finish the season on 15 goals and 25 assists. Or maybe he'll do even better.

I think that there isn't a big difference in class between KDB and Mkhi. The problem is that Mkhi excelled in a completely different system at Dortmund. He won't get the same platform under Mou.

Scary player. If he manages to keep fit, city will win the league. Don't forget they still have Aguero coming back. And Gundogan seems to have hit the ground running. I really hope this isn't the start of a dynasty, because it quite easily could be

They have some seriously talented players no doubt, but I don't think any team will ever again dominate the Premier League like United did. Football has changed enormously, it's so transitional now. However, this season? At present City look very strong, organised and certainly playing to the instructions of their manager.

As someone said, City started off similar last season. It's a long season with no winter break in this league. Their intense style of play will definitely take a toll and it will start showing up a few months in.

Pep doesn't do dynasties, he'll be off regardless

Pogba is a CL and European Championship finalist and one of the best midfielders around. Not sure how he cannot be classed similar to KDB.

They look impossible to beat and have pretty much played with the same dominance in every game they have played this season. They're in a league of their own at the moment.
My only hope is that we have equally talented players. We just need to click and dominate games. If we get going proper we'll be alright.

Come on now. This kind of praise stops being totally exaggerated when everyone has played everyone at least once, and then one team still stands out head and shoulders over the others. City did have an equally impressive start last year.
I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Pep and City should boss the PL, but 5 match days into the season is not the time to get all excited about their dominance.

His biggest blunder in transfer dealings to date?

At Chelsea you never really know who is making the calls regarding transfers so in all honesty you can't totally blame Jose. Selling De Bruyne was nowhere near as bad as buying Shevchenko though.

Selling Bertrand (a youth product, England International and in a position we need) annoyed me more to be honest.

Thank's Jose, he is rubbish. Certainly no Oscar.

Wasn't there interview with Jose/KBD which confirmed it was KBD who wanted to leave rather than Jose wanting to get rid off him.

Anyways this is Chelsea's Pogba moment except they sold him whereas Pogba rejected contract at ManUtd and left on free transfer.

If Jose wanted to keep him, Chelsea would have kept him.
