Kevin De Bruyne

Just been on looking on the Bluemoon forum and I'm the KDB thread, think I've found the team supported by the most unemployed fans ever. Over 23,000 replies on the one thread, scrolling down to the Pogba thread and over 28,000 replies. That's some amount of muppet suicide if we landed KDB and Pogba goes to Chelsea.

Yes, but each post counts as 100 over there to make them look like a big club.

Thats the part I doubt. We will sign someone, in a panic.
We made this mistake last year twice. Luckily we almost got our money back for Di Maria and Falcao was only a loan. Buying big names for the sake of it seems to have become a habit.

@Balu would this happening mean the end of gotze's time at Bayern? I don't see how you can fit him, muller, De Bruyne, Robben, Douglas Costa into your attack?

If that is so we should be in for Götze. He would fit in here very well.

It's not happening. Sammer already said they aren't in negotiations with Wolfsburg or de Bruyne. Shortly after the rumor popped up that we are interested now. De Bruyne's agent wants to force an offer from City before the window closes.

But yes, if Guardiola would want de Bruyne, it would most likely be the end for Götze at Bayern.

It won't be de Bruyne's agent leaking this, or I highly doubt it anyway. Seems apparent City have an agreement with the player and the agent, the issue is Wolfsburg are delaying the deal for whatever reason.

Gotze has started the season decently well. I'd presume he'd get atleast another year before Bayern move on from him and even that would be depending on whether Pep stays there.

It is the club or especially Rummenigge. Götze had the chance too leave - that says a lot.

It gets especially obvious when in the same press conference asked for Müller it is about having no price tag and being unsellable - whereas asked for Götze it is about Götze having decided that he wants to give it another try. And when Rummenigge adds that he expects him to really work on it.

Well might also be Wolfsburg trying to get you guys to agree to their price demands.

I'd say that's more likely although they are in no rush to sell and want de Bruyne to stay. My guess is the media reports are simply the truth, de Bruyne's agents have sought contact from Bayern and it's just been leaked with no overt agenda.

Pretty much all rumours are about De Bruyne possibly joining us next season, so Götze has another full season to show he's good enough to be a regular. If he doesn't improve, he's a bit of a problem for us anyway. He's one of the biggest earners at the club but only has two years left on his contract, so next summer it'll be one year left. So what are we supposed to do? Extend his contract doesn't make a lot of sense if he doesn't perform to deserve such high wages. And if he still struggles after 3 years, he should look for a different club to get his career back on track anyway. So we might have to sell him regardless of the De Bruyne situation.

But I can't see us giving De Bruyne a guarantee that we'll sign him next summer. That would be really odd, so nothing will happen from our side this year and we'll reevaluate the situation next summer when we know how Götze performed this season and who'll be the manager next season. If De Bruyne wants to move this summer, he'll end up at City.

Made one post replying in the Bluemoon forum and got banned for trolling. Just pointed out that there would be mass muppet suicide if he decided to join a good club like United. It wa

I read one post about them being in for Pedro and would have loved to get one over their neighbours, so I decided to register and responded by saying 'Imagine the mass muppet suicide if KDB decides to join a good club and comes to United' think it was my shortest membership period ever as I got banned almost instantly for Spam. Their very rude over there.

So how does it work that Bayern want to sign him next season? Surely they have to pay a retainer to get first option on him next season. KDB wont force a move and I think Wolfsburg will prefer to sell him next season so they get another full season from him.

You sure showed them.

underwhelming imo
Agree, not sure he has the right mentality to be just another player at a club rather than the main man that he is at Wolfsburg. Everything goes through him at Wolfsburg but if he goes to City then he will see less of the ball and could sit out a few games if off form.

I was only replying to the Pedro post about getting one over us. I was literally registered for 3 minutes before being banned, crazy.

You signed up and your first post mentioned fans committing suicide should de Bruyne decide to join a good club instead of City. The only crazy thing is you seem surprised you got banned.

Didn't realise how sensitive folks could be.

Why would we pay something for a first option? Either he wants to join us or not. If he wants to go somewhere else, first option doesn't make much sense. If not, we're in the best position to get him after he stayed one more year at Wolfsburg.

If he already agreed personal terms with City and wants to move to Manchester, good for him. Then City and Wolfsburg need to make it happen, either this week or next year. That has nothing to do with us.

So why would Wolfsburg turn the chance to sell now so that Bayern can have him next season? Theres has to be some arrangement there so that Wolfsburg don't get left with their d*cks in their hands so to speak. KDB could have a crap season and then Bayern renege on the deal, whereas at the minute City want him and he can go now. The ball is with Wolfsburg and not KDB as he isn't pushing for a transfer to happen so its irrelevant as to where he wants to go at the minute as Wolfsburg can decide which option to go with. So if Bayern want him next season surely they have to offer some sort of guarantee that he will still be wanted at the end of the season.

I'm sure of course KDB will be asked for his preferred choice but Wolfsburg have to accept the offer they favor the most first.

Wolfsburg want to keep him as long as possible. That's clearly more important to them than the risk that he might have a worse season and leave for less money. Ideally he stays even longer than just one year. Who knows what's happening next year anyway. Maybe he has another season like the last one and Real offers 100m. Then Wolfsburg would look a bit stupid if they were forced to sell him to Bayern for 50m.

You can't agree on a deal now for next season. Obviously Wolfsburg has to take a risk if they keep him. He could have a career ending injury on September 1st and that'll be that. But their goal is to have the best possible team on the pitch, not to make as much money as possible by selling players.

/edit:
Also again: If De Bruyne wants to leave for City and City offers a crazy amount of money, Wolfsburg just needs to take it if that's what they want. Why would City's offer now have any meaning for possible negotiations with us next season? A lot can happen in a year.

Seems like De Bruyne to City is finally a done deal. A usually reliable Wolfsburger newspaper confirmed it, 74m Euro + addons up to 80m in total. Kicker are also reporting it. Should be interesting how Wolfsburg is going to spend all that money this week.

Not happy about this at all. If he can form a good understanding with the rest of the team quick enough they will have by far the best attacking lineup in the league and it's still a fairly young one that could easily play 4-5 seasons on the highest level.

Just hope he's more expensive then ADM and can have the most expensive British player tag.

So WAZ and Kicker say 54 rising to 58.4M pounds and Bild reckon 60M rising to 65M. That's quite a fee, it was £47M not too long ago.
