If a Fab bid happens, then I have a head-start.

I'm hearing we're going in with an offer. United are not sure Arsenal will do a deal.
They wont. If Fabregas was available I expect Real "money no problem" MAdrid to go for him. Also Wenger is already under some pressure and selling Fabregas to us will make the situation worse.

He doesn't want to play for Real. And I think he'd prefer to stay in England.

But will Arsenal sell one of their top players to another PL club?

I mean when Cole wanted to leave for Chelsea, they tried to make his life as difficult as possible..

Fabregas would be a ready made replacement for Scholes

in 01 didn't we try for vieira and the deal almost came through but since it didn't we ended up getting veron?

similar sounds to us trying to nick fabregas? fabregas is stupidly talented...just what is required for us in midfield but surely arsenal would never sell...even at 40 million.

plus i think even we wouldn't keep him for his career if we bought him. we'd buy for 40, only to probably end up selling him on for 60 or something when he's 26-27 to barcelona...just as xavi hangs it up for them.

Doubt barca would be able to spend that much for a player reckon the club of his dreams would step in if he proved himself at United

A quote from Fabregas after yesterdays game in South Africa.

'I am happy at Arsenal and I want to win titles there. But these things are not necessarily up to me'.

Admittedly his first choice is Barcelona, but with Xavi and Iniesta already established we can discount Barca making a move.

Hmm. I would accept a summer of Valencia, Fabregas, and maybe another surprise signing in the mold of Evra/Vidic.

since Fabregas and Torres are linked, why isn't Essien?

Sultan is mixing this drink into a cocktail.

Links?

Anyway, i heard we're after the new Messi after a positive report in January ,whilst we were watching Falcao. His name is Buonanotte.

Remember, you heard it here first.
Good night to you too.

Many short players make it in the PL.. Modric, Lennon, Scholes, Evra, Fabregas & many many more.. Its understandable if you say it may be a bit difficult to make it but to just write short players off is not right..

Karim Benzema is an option for Inter if they lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic, club supremo Massimo Moratti has confirmed.

Talks over a swap deal between Ibra and Barcelona goal-machine Samuel Eto’o have stalled, but Moratti still understands that the Swede could leave the San Siro this summer.

And Lyon hit-man Benzema could be the striker’s successor at the Nerazzurri, even if Inter’s chief rates Ibrahimovic higher than the Frenchman.

“There is a bit of truth in this option,” Moratti told L’Equipe when asked whether he would be interested in luring Benzema away from OL.

“We don’t want to be taken by surprise in the case Ibra was to move on. Benzema is a strong player, he is talented. But to me, Ibra is a better player than him.”

modric is 5ft 8.5inches (wiki)
scholes 5ft 7
even messi is 5ft 7

this guy is 5ft 2inches

cant write him off .. but it will be very hard for him to play down the middle ..
wide .. if he really quick .. might have a better chance. .

Fabregas? That's almost as funny as the Express article saying you're interested in Torres. Who the feck isn't? but your chances of signing Cesc are Slim to nothing and Slim has just left town.

Keep up the good work lads, this in Comedy Gold in here today.

It's a wind-up. Possibly an admin conspiracy.

Start a rumour... be amused at the reaction.

It makes sense.
