Prefer Neves but i'll try to watch him play for leeds in the next couple games because he never really stood out like Neves does.
We don't have enough players with hatred in their game, I'll take it.He’s spoken about his hatred for Manchester United in the past, I can imagine his smile as he wears the shirt in his welcome to united video. Through gritted teeth but with pound signs in his eyes
Would be a good option for the right price. Hard working and covers lots of ground plus also has the ability to pass the ball. I believe he would be a good buy as we need and upgrade and "sure thing" or a premier league proven player. Sure there are players from other leagues with more potential but what if they dont work out?? Do we head into a new season with McFred VDB and Garner??
The likely price tag, the injuries (am I wrong in feeling he's injury-prone?), and the Leeds factor - not sure it would be a smart signing, particularly given how crucial the position is.
Nah Matic is from the stone age.I don’t understand. Weren’t United meant to be going after younger players?
This guy is older than Matic isn’t he?
He's almost exactly one year older than the 'young' McTominay.I don’t understand. Weren’t United meant to be going after younger players?

Not quite, he's 26!I don’t understand. Weren’t United meant to be going after younger players?

Nonsense, 99% of this forum wanted us to sign Sancho.United fans think only French players are worth over 49 million.

I couldn't agree more, if Philips was playing in Spain or Germany the view would be very different, though I understand the reluctance to buy from Leeds. That's because of Sancho playing abroad imo. They instantly think that these English players are better.
Bellingham is next in alot of people's mind.
English players playing in England are viewed differently unless playing for our rivals.
No, it's because he was highly rated since being a youth player along with Foden. Similar with Bellingham. I'm pretty sure Bellingham was wanted before Dortmund got him. Bellingham, similar to those two, was the highest rated talent of his very talented 2003 English generation. That's because of Sancho playing abroad imo. They instantly think that these English players are better.

My guess is it's only if they get relegated, in which case he'd be in an identical situation as Alan Smith was back in the day. If any of the other top clubs make a move for him I have no doubt he would prefer to go there (as long as he would get a starting role), but honestly we're probably the most likely one to do it. He also wouldn't be 50m if they did get relegated.I'm confused. Didn't he fecking hate our guts? Why would he ever come here? It doesn't make sense, unless he wants that fat paycheck. Hardly the kind of player we need right now. And 50 million fee?
The Athletic article is actually sceptical that he'll join us. Him and his family are Leeds through and through. Alan Smith wasn't a Leeds fan growing up according to the article. Phillips would have to burn a lot of bridges to join us.
Not quite, he's 26!
