Kaka to United?

Milan aren't coming in with the money for Kaka so anyone who's ever been interested in him is probably being canvassed by his agent, Madrid, the press, Twitter ITKs and miscellaneous wannabes . He's supposed to have told Milan he'd be willing to take a pay cut to go back, though who knows how serious a cut he was thinking of.

Madrid have a problem loaning him to anyone. Right now he's paid on an old ("Beckham Law") low tax contract. A loan abroad will invalidate the contract. His 9m Euros now costs Madrid about 12m. If he returned from a loan it would cost them around 18. I can only guess if a loan option is being offered then Madrid have a way to avoid him returning :D

Madrid are also believed to have told Milan that they won't give him away to a European team for free - though of course Milan may have been asking Madrid to subsidise Kaka's pay as well.

As to us buying him. I just don't see the point. He still looks wonderful in flashes but you have to wait a long time for the next flash.

I'll donate two kidneys. This ain't happening.

Disclaimer: By 'donate two kidneys' I mean I'll buy Silvestre and Obertan on FM and sell them shortly after.

This makes sense. Still has 3 years left on that contract as well so the opportunity cost kaka faces if he takes a paycut to move somewhere else is massive.

He doesn't strike me as the type to want to stick around just for a wedge, but that's a lot of euros to leave on the table.

Interesting.

As for United, thanks but no thanks.

Keep your kidneys .... (you give them away so easily!).

Don't want him, even if this a remote possibility .... we have more than enough world class attacking flair.

Plus Kaka is a dud.

Although there's no chance this will happen I wouldn't mind him joining us for a season on loan.
Kaka in a United shirt alone would be great.
He didnt do too shabby last year did he?

if Kaka wants to swap one bench for another, if Madrid are willing to pay majority of his wages (city-like) then i see no harm in having a talented player at Fergie's disposal. Having said that- i hope we don't waste minutes that are precious for our youngsters to market a player for Madrid.

If he comes, it means that Nani is off to somewhere (Zenit??)

Kaka could play on the left

if we doesn't have to pay the majority of his wages like someone posted above, then i'll take him. given our luck with injuries it is only a matter of time before 3 or 4 of our midfielders get injured at the same time.

Would seem highely unlikely to get another attacking midfielder in, then again, Ferguson never cease to surprise.

we dont need him but if he came and RM were paying almost all of his wages and he knew he was going to spend most of his time sat on the bench. Then maybe just maybe he could do a job for us in case of injuries

A lot of hope in this thread based on a tweet in a WUM twitter account. It aamazes me how many get worked up over stuff on twitter
