Lots of rumours floating around; odds being slashed.

I might as well be a muppet and start a thread on this potentially ridiculous possibility.

Apologises in advance if it doesn't pan out (which it probably won't)!

After we signed van Persie I realised something, the transfer muppet is never satisfied, he or she feeds from speculation and Twitter sources, on completion of an actual signing he or she is nowhere to be seen.

Nope, wont happen. Van Persie was our big name signing this summer, apart from maybe one or two small names I reckon we are done.

It would seem a bit excessive to buy Kaka, but if there's one place where he could turn back the clock, it would be at United. He was completely squandered at Madrid.

I'm sure there's a whole psychology behind it.

If people want to muppet a speculation to life, why not rather go for Witsel or Martinez or even Schweiny?

Kaka...do not want

Absolutely useless to buy.

We bought an AM already - Kagawa.

We need CM and/or DM.

Kaka is 30, he would be a short term solution in a position that we have options.

Nothing in this story at all nor is there any reputable sources running it. Buttner will be our last signing if we do indeed get his as is beign reported

He's tall, has lost some pace so will have to drop deeper, and we are light in defence. Nailed on I say.

Oops, just ordered a Van Persie shirt, but I want a Kaka one now... :(

Buying him may not be the best solution, but a loan would be low risk.

we don't need more competition for Welbeck, Hernandez, Cleverley, Anderson (and the likely starters Rooney, van Persie, Kagawa)

It's plenty already. Why would we go for him and pay him upwards of 80k a week I suppose, rather than just do the same again for midfield that we've done (apparently) for left-back, buy cheap cover so we won't get absolutely fecked if we lose a currently-vital player...?

You don't believe in this shit, do you?

Started by agent153 on Twitter, ffs.

Rather than debating the quality or quantity......Fergie just going with both, can't lose.

I would probably release a huge stream of spunk if we signed kaka. Even though it may not work out, if he hits form then he is remarkable

Regardless of the likely bullshit rumours, I've said for years that I think SAF could get Kaka back to a level close to his best.

One of my favourite ever players, absolutely incredible back in '06/07

So, a player at 28, 29 is at the height of his ability but at 30 he's past it?
