The rest of your points sound very speculative apart from the Woodward one. Ole wanted Bellingham and Haaland and didn't get them, even though they would have most likely been fantastic signings. Haven't seen anything to suggest Ole was refusing to sign any players from abroad (why would he anyway, he's not even English?) We've also signed plenty flops from outside England over recent years like Telles, Dalot, Fred and Lindelof.
