Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Looks a bit swampy at Napoli. How are the best team the world has seen supposed to play their game I ask? Trent is knee deep in grass.

Why can't he recognize that his high defensive line doesn't work anymore?

How come they have a second off cycle year in three seasons? Isn't it supposed to be two years on and one year off?

Excuses are out from the media already. They just went out and spent 100m on an exotic Andy Carroll.

Honestly don't remember any of this reporting about the glazers when Fergie was boss and operating on a barely any net after Ronaldo got sold and was still keeping the club competitive and winning the big prizes, and no just one league title.

This is Kevin Palmer. You calling him the 'media' says more about you than anything else.

We don't own Norwich scarves.

This season just gets better and better.

Get your tickets booked back to Germany.

You don't know how good you have it till it's gone..

For all the work they did building that great team, they've done a really poor job replacing them.

I give them props for challenging City so close despite spending far less than them, but they really needed to keep Mane (they've badly needed attacking depth for a long while.. finally they get Diaz but then sell Mane..) and sign players like the ones Spurs signed this window (for around the same spend).

The problem they face is that they can't afford a poor transfer window - they've got so many ageing players they'll need to replace in subsequent windows like Salah, VVD, Henderson, Thiago etc that every failed window piles on the more to do in the next. And then one day you wake up and you're United post LVG's signings.

Fair play he’s talking about reinventing themselves. He’s not gonna Tuchel himself.
By doing this they risk CL football next season since they’re learning on the job. Strap in.

He's very honest in this interview to be fair to him. He sounds absolutely shellshocked and I'd be terrified of facing him in the dressing room if I'd just served that up.

It's only 8th September, there have been like 6 games in the league and one in CL. There was talk of Liverpool decline in 2020/21 only for them to lose the league last season by 1 point and get to CL final, while winning both domestic cups. Some of their important players have been injured as well. Maybe it's bigger crisis than I can see but think Liverpool will be fine.

Next fixtures.
Wolves, Ajax, Chelsea, Brighton, Rangers, Arsenal, Rangers, City,

Could be a tricky two months

it’s not FSG’s fault they spunked 85m on a donkey who doesn’t fit their system

I'd shift Salah to CF with Darwin as backup regardless of formation. The wide players can be two out of Diaz/Jota/Carvalho/Elliot.
Not a bad idea to even try TAA at RW if they have a decent RB backup.

Their left side looks okay (Diaz, Robertson even the suddenly just good not great Van Dijk) but the entire rest of the team is a disaster at the moment. They need a couple new midfielders, a RB to keep TAA honest (and the Scottish child they've just signed probably doesn't count) and maybe start rotating Salah (with Elliot, who is good on the ball but seems to have destabilized their midfield defensively) who can't get any separation from a defender.

Trent lacks the pace for that to work effectively, I feel
