Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

The only thing worse than scousers drooling over Klopp is the fecking Germans drooling over this guy. From Brych to the posters on here, it’s nasty that’s what it is.

“What a manager”?!

He hasn’t won shite at Liverpool yet.

And we’re supposed to hate him, we are football fans and we’re tribalistic.
He took over a bang average team and with a net spend of zero (as far as I remember?) has them in the CL final while playing scintillating football. Even if they lose the final surely he deserves huge credit?

Absolute idiot. Has the heavenly given Mo and this is the most reason they are in the battle for CL in the PL and at the 1/2 CL final

He hasn’t spent any money has he?!

Tbf he had less of a rebuilding job than Jose, I mean the lucky fecker already had Lovren, Henderson and Milner in the squad when he took over.

If only Klopp could teach his teams how to retain possession and kill a game, when ahead. Most teams problem is to get ahead. His problem is to stay there. They desperately need a guy in the middle of the park that can step on a ball and organize the team. Then the lack of world class technical passing ability is what enables Liverpool to press so hard. Truly technically gifted players don´t have to develop horse lunges like Henderson or Milner. They get by with other aspects of their game.

He's still a nothing special manager that has won almost feck all his entire career, got the luckiest and easiest draw ever.
That's so laughable. His achievements in the Bundesliga were top notch, if you consider that he was not managing Bayern. There are and were maybe a handful of non-Bayern managers that have achieved as much as him in the history of Bundesliga.

. Top post.

Dont agree with Klopp being a better manager than Mourinho but if he had the budget Mou had, Pool would probably be the best team in England.

Likes of Karius, Lovren, TAA, Milner, Henderson and Chamberlain are going to a CL final.

He was rather unlucky that Gotze didn't play in the final against Bayern in 2013. It's like Liverpool having to play without one of their front three, the performance level simply isn't the same.

VVD cost more than any of our centreback combinations combined. Their front 4 cost 120m!

I mean, Steve Finnan, Djimi Traore, Milan Baros and Jerzy Dudek actually won one, so, you know

Spot on! Thats his biggest problem ever since his Dortmund days but in Germany that was not so openly exposed as is in England. Klopp teams just cant control the games because they rely on exactly these events that you cant control in a game lol Their strength is their weakness so to say..

Wasnt Milan Baros quite good at the time? I remember him being a plague for both us and Germany at Euro 2004.

Yup they deserve at least credit for that. It was a different approach to the same style. Usually they press teams that try to play out of the back. In this case they simply played long balls, held them up, or quickly jumped on the 2nd ball and forced errors that way. Roma probably did not expect those long ball tactics from Liverpool. Barcelona would never use such simplistic tactics to play over a press. Barcelona have to play out of the back, even if different tactics seem better suited. Liverpool to their credit just took out the whole condensed six man midfield strategy with one long ball, then attacked the slow back three relentlessly. Salah gets all the headlines, but the hold up play and pass timing from Firmino is just world class.

I can now fully understand your hatred of these insufrable twats. And their tosspot of a manager as just morphed right into them.

Still makes excuses i see. But 60m for Salah and Mané is some solid work. Im a bit jealous about that.

Did you watch Barca on Saturday? Their first goal was a long ball over the top

VVD was fuelled by the funds generated by the Coutinho sale.
Not at all implying Klopp is operating on a shoestring budget but compared to ours its nothing.

Tbf if you're gonna play such a high line the opposition will always try to play long balls and get behind the defence. Klopp's team usually don't play long balls but in this scenario it would be daft not to.

And he has the cheek to criticize teams who use those tactics against him. He is the biggest hypocrite around. All night they were kicking balls upfield for their front 3 to chase. And taking advantage of the 2nd balls. Liverpool are not an exceptional football team but in the right conditions they can look like one.

I think he's a good manager, albeit an absolute bell end. His front 3 are an exceptional threat because defenders hate pace, as they say. And Firmino knows how to drop off & release the other two because he's a top class footy player who plays & knows his role fantastically well.

Deirdre's tactics set a dilemma for the oppo isn't it? Sit in & we'll press you, come to us & we'll hit you on the counter. I think he has got them pressing a lot more selectively now though, certainly against the stronger teams - City for instance, though I know some on here don't see that.

The one thing they really don't like is being put under pressure, either from long balls played to a target man & then the game re-commenced from there or a full press put on like City or Spurs would try & rushing the defence. Method 1 is more how Mourinho's Utd go against them.

Pushing up to halfway though, especially when it just isn't on to do so, that's just suicidal against their pace.

Curiously unaffected by Coutinho going aren't they - he's just put some more legs into the MF and on they go.

Oh, and the FBs are great aren't they - always supporting, plenty of legs, know now when to go & when not to, rather than having Moreno there anyway, :D.

They're a dangerous team alright, I hope they keep faith with Lovren & never acquire a decent GK, that's for sure.

And Salah can feck off any time he likes, obviously.
