Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

What an absolute bitter and pathetic thing to say about the points. Come on Roma, put this serial loser in his place.

Must say, this LFC team is really having an adverse affect on my health. Chicken Kievs for breakfast, dinner and lunch.

How was his presser after the game? As cringeworthy as the interviews?

Would be hilarious if Roma beat them the same way with long balls using Dzeko and Schik

Guy is seething because West Brom didn't quit down 2-0 and let liverpool have the 3 points. What a massive fecking cnut. Clear sign that he isn't confident about his chances in the CL and is worried Spurs could take 3rd and he'll be there with no trophies again having to go play 2-legs in August to qualify for the group stages.

It's an incredible achievement. I don't think many people expected them to reach the semi finals of the Champions League. Drawing City was a disaster for them and they smashed City home and away to reach the semis. I don't think it's a shock. It is, however, sensational given the budget they have - especially when you compare it with our performance in Europe against a Sevilla team that run us ragged for 180 minutes when we we're overwhelming favourites.

Porto are no joke and City have decimated everyone on their path while winning the league with 5 matches to spare. To insinuate that they are easy opposition that Liverpool were expected to beat is just strange.
It is a nice achievement but I won't call it incredible or sensational. They were expected to beat Porto. They were underdogs against City but everyone acknowledged that they had a fair chance of winning the tie. It wasn't like Roma-Barcelona. They failed to beat the same Sevilla team that knocked us out. Teams with lesser budgets have reached this stage of the tournament in the past, so I don't really see how this is incredible.

That's not going to happen.

Fourth place don't have to go through knockouts anymore to qualify for the group's.

He just says exactly what most fans are thinking instead of slipping into boring manager talk like the majority do.

If he's your manager then as a fan you love him. If he's not yours then you have the opposite view. It's that simple.

Nothing he's said today is controversial or anything. It's a brutally honest review of the game that's all.

Bollocks.

When did that change happen? Very recently?

Starts with next season's CL, so this season is the first year the qualification has been like it.

Previously, the nations ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd had 4 CL berths, with the 4th placed team entering the final qualification round. The nation ranked 4th had 3 CL berths, with the 3rd placed team entering the final qualification round. This has changed so that the top 4 from the top 4 nations enter straight into the group stages, so the top 4 from Spain, England, Germany, and Italy.

The championship remark was unnecessary, but I get he was veeeery pissed off with his players, the ref and the game in general at that point.
I guess he's also trying to switch focus from his players. I wonder what happens behind the closed doors, because everybody should understand that Lovren and Moreno let the team down again. I bet there's nothing about dry pitches in the dressing room...

Everything's all jovial when they win and then horrible, bitterness and completely begrudging when a team plays well to share the spoils.

They're starting to waver a bit now! I do think they'll hand out a beating to Roma though.

Jesus Christ

Watch Liverpool fans defend this. Although they defended Kenny's TShirt stint, so won't be surprise if they do defend this.

So he is basically saying WBA shouldn't have shown up because they are already relegated instead of allowing them every right to save it and be competitive in a football match. That's a bit disrespectful, Klopp.

Whilst I have 5 minutes due to half time in the rugby. (Which is not going well at all if you're a Llanelli boy!)

I'm not gonna quote everyone who's quoted my post as I don't have time right now so excuse me if I fail to cover anything that was brought up with regards to what i said.

I don't think he's blamed the pitch for the result, unless I've missed that somewhere.

With regards to playing on a dry pitch in the Championship jibe, West Brom have, as is their right, set up a pitch to suit them and hinder Liverpool's passing style. Having done so, in my eyes, it's perfectly valid to bring it up in a dig at the end of the game.

Classless to some, and clearly borne out of frustration at the result, but not that big a deal as far as I'm concerned.

The other stuff he's said about a pen and a red card I'm guessing no one has a problem with so don't think I need to say anything about them.

I maintain he's like Marmite though. Your manager = Love him. Opposition manager = Hate him.

Anyway, back to the rugby for me. (Is there a praying emoji about?) :(

Good luck on the rugby lad but i must say, still bollocks i’m afraid.

No matter which club he manages those were some cringeworthy quotes by the bucktoothed messiah.

Jose's reputation comes from a history of gouging people's eyes out and generally denigrating his rivals in public. That's probably why, mate.

Ah since you’re the referee of past sins you’ll do well to bring up Klopps shoving of a 4th official and complete meltdowns when things don’t go his way, won’t you? Thought not.

So blaming the wind, the pitch, long balls, set pieces and unfair treatment when the poorer team doesn't lose like they're supposed to? What is left from this honourable guy? He is a real piece of work isn't he? Seems like the type of dude that are really cool when you're bying him drinks but soon as you need him as a friend he splits because it is something that annoys him. Just to say, i really don't like him.

I'm not sure whether I'd prefer they get dumped out by Roma 7-0 on agg, or to see Ronaldo score a penalty that shouldn't have been given in the 121st minute.

I actually quite like the guy but he can be a real arsehole sometimes. This was one of those times.

Peno in the 121st minute would be perfect, especially if there's a clamity, like a slip by the keeper or something

I'd prefer the latter. But then we would have a 100-pages thread for pointless debate on whether it's a pen or not, which takes half the enjoyment.

everyone in the world knows how WBA are going to play against Liverpool. If you can't beat them playing your normal game maybe it's you who needs to adjust and not them? you whopping great cnut

Superb manager, deflecting criticism from his players so they don't get the criticism, if only other managers knew how to do that, oh wait.

I hope Roma piss all over ‘one of those special Anfield European nights’ and bully and shithouse their way to a 1-0 win - then turn their home pitch into the Gobi desert for the return - Klopps just an absolute toilet

Superb manager, deflecting criticism from his players so they don't get the criticism, if only other managers knew how to do that, oh wait.

Think he Jurgen has drawn more attention to this game with those kind of comments. No one would have disagreed or bothered if he said we (Liverpool) subconsciously took the foot of the pedal as we had one eye on the next game and at this level you can’t do that blah blah blah.

Just imagine the meltdown if Pool loose the Semis of the CL to Roma and in the process also fall out of top 4
I strongly believe Klopp will go insane and crazy

Whatever do you mean

This is a familiar theme for football bosses. Despite the fact that both sides play on the same patch of grass, managers still consider it acceptable to blame the undoing of their grand tactical plans on a poor pitch. There’s barely a manager in existence who hasn’t grumbled about the grass being too long, or that the turf cuts up too easily, and Ferguson is no exception to the rule. Here’s a classic example: It’s January 2001 and favourites Manchester United have just lost to West Ham in the FA Cup fourth round. Paolo di Canio scored the only goal of the game after goalkeeper Fabien Barthez chose to appeal for offside rather than attempt to stop the striker when the Italian was through on goal. However, rather than criticise the erratic Frenchman for his dubious ploy, Ferguson instead chose to talk about a game of rugby played a couple of months previously. “I can’t believe Manchester United have allowed rugby matches to be played on the pitch,” he lamented. “The biggest club in the world, and they have to play rugby every bloody November – and the pitch is a mess after it.”

Still think Klopp was out of order for his little dig at West Brom playing in the Championship next season. I'll not be sorry to see them go down though. They've been something of a bogey side for us ever since they got promoted 8 years ago. Only once in that 8 years have we done the double against them. & just 2 points off them this season, plus a home defeat in the FA Cup.

Deflecting by mocking a club about being in the Championship when they haven't actually been relegated yet.
There a better ways to deflect. You're going to struggle to police this turd. It was a classless post match conference.

Forget right or wrong. It was just unnecessary. WBA aren't their rivals. Having a pop at the club for no reason is just weird.

Comes across as a bully who is afraid of the big boys and is picking on the weak kid.
