Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

They played very well and thoroughly deserve to progress. Like it or love it Klopp is getting things in order over there. Over here I think Jose is doing better than most on here would admit to.

Next years Premier League is going to be brilliantly contested I think.

Still can't believe we went through 5-1 after winning both games. Wasn't supposed to happen.
Entire tie turned on episodes. As it is so often the case at this level. Final aggregate score rarely reflects what happened on the pitch

Yeah I'm about troll. Forget the Liverpool fans like yourself who only appear on a United forum when things go your way.

You'll have to learn that just as you disagree with an opinion doesn't make the person who holds it a troll - especially when what they are saying is a fact.

@ShadesOfTomato was talking nonsense.

1) He claimed City had no clear chances and Liverpool easily coped with City first half.

He seems to have forgot conceedimg a goal in less than two minutes when the world's most expensive defender got flattened by Sterling, Bernardo hitting the post and the referree wrongly ruling out a legit goal. City pulled you apart.

2) He's totally unwilling to highlight any flaws in your play and seems to believe you can withstand whatever European football has to throw at you.

I rightly mentioned you struggle with target men and Lukaku destroyed you, and Lovren, at Old Trafford. Not sure what's more difficult to understand, the facts of what I'm saying or why two Liverpool fans are getting worked up about what's being posted about their club on a Manchester United forum after their biggest European night in years.

Feck me

We weren't torn apart by City at all. They had constant pressure on us in the first half but they weren't getting many shots on target. They only had 3 shots on target the whole game. You say we've struggled with target men but your only example is Lukaku at Old Trafford a ground we notoriously struggle at anyway. He didn't destroy us at Anfield, what other examples are there this season of us struggling with target men?

Madrid and Bayern won't need target men to play through our defence. Obviously we will need a lot of luck and some decisions to go our way to get the the final but that's European football. Look at Roma vs Barcalona, football isn't black and white, because something's happened in the past doesn't mean it'll happen in the future.

Utd supporters tend to make a deluded clown out of Klopp based on tweets/posts from within their comfort zone, having phrases out of context or biased overviews. Of course it's mostly negative, given he's the rival manager.
In reality, if yoh watch his interviews, he's reasonable (with rare flases of emotional rants).
E.g he didn't like how we played second half of the first match and first half yesterday. He also agreed we were lucky not to concede more yesterday (though avoided the Sane goal situation by saying he didn't see it and needs to see a replay).
When asked if he feels we can beat anyone and we are level with the elite, he stated that Real, Barca and Bayern dominate the european competition for the last 20 years or so, and Liverpool won almost nothing in that period, so it's wrong to compare. Some other clubs won as well, but rather as an exceptions.
He also touched his previous statement about trophies (he was asked) by saying he's been here for 2.5 years and won nothing, so his time is running out.

So he's generally an adequate guy.

Okay, let's just dissect this a bit shall we.

Do his quotes get taken out of context? Maybe a little bit, but if you take a look at the top of the page, you are on the leading Manchester United forum. It is perhaps expected that a bit of spin is put on the words of Liverpool's manager for comedic effect by Manchester United fans on a Manchester United forum. However, I don't there's much you can do with context when your manager is talking about Ashley Young making a tackle against a team that was not Liverpool, and before your biggest game of the season, against a team that is not Manchester United.

Are we obsessed with Jurgen Klopp? Not really sure. There's always a level of interest in the Liverpool manager because most United fans see Liverpool as their biggest rivals, regardless of what City are doing. However, when United fans are discussing Klopp as a result of Klopp talking about Manchester United, it's probably not that weird that Manchester United fans are talking about said comments on a Manchester United forum.

Oppo fans are welcome here. They're welcome to come here and discuss a great deal of things. However, issues can arise on this, a Manchester United forum, when they act as appointed guardians of their particular chosen team, calling out Manchester United fans for reacting to comments about Manchester United. There is a stark difference between you arguing with United fans who think, for example, that Klopp is a fraud and a perennial underachiever, and you arguing with United fans who are having a laugh at Klopp once again talking about United in a press conference when the match doesn't involve United.

If Manchester United fans are being negative about Manchester United on a Manchester United forum, they are doing so out of frustration and a desire to see improvements in the team that they support. If oppo fans are being negative about Manchester United on a Manchester United forum then they're more than likely doing it to take the piss or rub salt in the wounds after a recent result. I have seen plenty of insightful opinions, both negative and positive about Manchester United from oppo fans, even Liverpool fans, that have resulted in excellent discussion. Perhaps your comments weren't as insightful as you thought, or perhaps you posted them at a bad time. I'd say immediately following a loss is probably a bad time.

As for the last bit, and I'm not sure if you've noticed, but this is a Manchester United forum. I'm not sure what you expected, when you, a Liverpool fan, signed up for a Manchester United forum, so unless it's an actual serious discussion, I would perhaps wonder a bit more if you should bother responding to what is more than likely a hugely biased piss take. You've even said there that this is "something minor" so maybe you could all act a little less precious when Manchester United fans on a Manchester United forum have a bit of a laugh and find something to yap about when the manager of Manchester United's biggest rivals makes a comment about Manchester United.

Manchester United.

Did you deliberately write Manchester United 21 times?

Genius post once again, this is right up there with your senor fix resulag outburst

Massive result today, calls for celebrations like these:

That's 3 games without a win against West Brom. Liverpool had turned a corner against these small teams right?

Well, at least it was exciting I guess. How would you rate the excitement level from 1 to 10?

The same side you literally lost to the other day, and we've a Champions League Semi-Final to play on Tuesday. Scraping the barrel a bit mate. :) (we should've won, even with a mix and match side at 2-0 with ten to go, still, we didn't lose).

Grief taken and given, in good spirit.

I don't think that many of us gave a toss about today beforehand. Angry now that we let a good lead slip, but happy that Sala,Mane and Van Dijk, came through without injury

Haha, shite result for the scum, then.
They've rightly got one eye on midweek though, but we should capitalise on this and win our next league game to stretch the gap.

How many games have we lost against those sides this season?

Nice one, conveniently avoid the drawing element of the game.

You've drawn 7 times to teams outside the top 6. Losing the lead has also been a problem for Liverpool (you've admitted as such many times this season). I don't think they can challenge without getting better at closing out games.

You managed to make a post that was completely irrelevant to my post. You are predictably boring.

What is the problem of realizing you are in United forum ?

Every time he doesn't get a result he just seems to belittle the opposition and make excuses in the post match interview.

A bit of a contradictory?

They brought up United for no other reason than to take a dig (United has no relevance to Liverpool's performances). Then showed even more saltiness by bringing up the CL. So What happens if they are challenging for the league and CL, will they not care about these types of games just because they have a CL semi final?

To be fair, Liverpool fans don't really know what challenging on multiple fronts feels like. They are always finding a positive light on losses. I remember some Pool fans twisting the FA Cup defeat to West brom as a positive so they could concentrate on other competitions.

So Liverpool didn't throw the game away.
It was West Broms fault for playing direct.
It was the groundsmans fault for not watering the pitch.
It was the refs fault for not giving all the decisions in Liverpools favour.
The drunken tramp is really clutching at straws.
Love it!

Showing his class again with saying that WBA can play in championship with their dry pitch.

Very classy la.

I don’t understand the Red Cafe love in with Klopp. Fair enough they can attack, but his teams are built on sand.
Must be so frustrating to fans to get to winning positions only to throw it away.
The best managers understand that you at least build from a solid defence.

I just don't understand why the hell he's thinking he will enter United forum to see positive things said about Liverpool after they drop points ? You are a Liverpool fan who made an account on a United forum, either deal with it or go to RAWK. That's why I appreciate someone like @Klopper76 as he understands such point and made good posts.

He’s a whining little bitch. Needs to look at his team rather than continuously making excuses.

'Cool your boots man', 'Even a stopped clock is right twice a day'. ' (better now? It is for me ). :)

'Here, hare, here'.

It's so funny these liverpool fans moan about Jose and his complaints when in reality their beloved klopp is even worse. At least Jose graciously goes and appreciates opposite manager even when he loses, unlike klopp who has his big ego. I hope Roma thrashes him or better him losing another final to bayern or even better Ronaldo scoring a hat trick and making a mockery of salah and liverpool

Just saw his Interview, this result must have really affected him. Looks like he didn't approach this game like some fans did. He really wanted to win as the points would have done nicely to make top 4 safe.

So he says West Brom didn't water the pitch at half time, but that didn't stop Liverpool from scoring their second goal in the 72nd minute.
