Has Klopp mentioned our offside goal yet?
You did a good job of defending the box, but a fairly poor job at preventing spurs from getting the ball into the box in dangerous situations. Basically, rather than good collective defending, limiting dangerous situations, it was more Karius and the
(and yes, the problem, once again, is the midfield)
It's an offside so marginal that it's completely unreasonable to expect a linesman to spot it.
If you're complaining about that, you're complaining just to complain.
Also, I'm pretty sure Lovren is holding him. I'm pretty sure holding in the box is a penalty, even if the player being held is offside. So if you really want to get technical about it, a pen should have been called long before van Dijk booted Lamela.
Of course, calling a pen for that would have been dumb, just like your (and others) whinging about Lamela being an inch offside.
Offside is offside.
Don't agree. So what you are effectively saying is that if there is ANY contact its a penalty?! Like I said earlier, you would have got laughed off the park yesteryear. Such a shame that most others agree with your point of view. Anyway, I won't change my opinion as I suspect you won't change yours. If you, and others, can watch stuff like that and not feel any sense of disgust, then I fear that the game has now become nothing more than a stage for the benefit of the third rate actors to inflict their "craft" on the gullible public. Here's a question...can you imagine players of the calibre of Duncan Edwards, Bobby Charlton, George Best, Nobby Stiles and others of that ilk acting like that? My last word on the subject. Both penalties. It's not attackers duty to avoid contact, Goal keepers should know better.
Karius does nothing wrong for the Wanyama goal, it's a good punch. 9/10 Wanyama smashes that into row Z. The second pen was a blindside clearance that Lamela buys (and was offside anyway).
Otherwise, the defence did well yesterday. Spurs controlled 60%+ possession but actually created not one proper chance from open play in the second half.
But narrative is narrative.

What an idiotic post. Football has evolved a lot since the past century, you might wanna remember this now.Don't agree. It maybe but can you honestly blame the ref for not spotting it ? At real speed, it's impossibleOffside is offside.
Sir Alex been on the receiving end of the blame game yet?
Offside is offside.
Except he's not offside. You can't play football with your arms and the Liverpool defender has his leg closer to the goal.
Lamela's left foot is offside. Not sure where you're looking.
FFS!
Do you disagree?
I don't, as it happens, but to argue about it to the extent you all are - and expect officials to notice somebody being offside by mere inches during a frantic phase of play - is completely absurd.
The only poor decision in this whole mess was the one by your (very) expensive centre-back to boot Lamela two feet into the air. Lamela himself, Moss, his officials etc. are all blameless as far as I'm concerned in the context of everything we've seen.
Liverpool fans just can’t help themselves. Always blaming someone when in reality they’re just rubbish.
It’s not the referees fault you haven’t won the league in 30 years. Maybe they should sign better players and get a better manager.
The guy who knocked Liverpool off their perch. Remember him?Who?
Lamela is offside when the ball is headed from the throw in. It was even shown on Sky just now.
And there is no attempt made to play the ball by Lamela. He jumps into VVD, looking for contact. I can see why it's been given, but he was looking for it.
I'm not even sure the foot matters for offsides.Lamela's left foot is offside. Not sure where you're looking.
The whole topic is boring now. Hopefully VAR will remove this kind of controversy in future.
This is one situation where it might not. There's an acceptable margin for error on offsides(10 cm or less)Hopefully VAR will remove this kind of controversy in future.

Mark Clattenburg knows what he's talking about? Most cases like that, they simply don't have a still frame that shows whether offside or not with 100% accuracy. Hence the 10 cm margin of errorAccording to Mark Clattenburg, there is no margin of error/benefit given with VAR.
The bindippers are creating drama again. I just read that there may be investigation into the first penalty (which spurs didnt score on).
fecking idiots, no wonder other people hate these losers. May the foootball God keep them away from the elusive league title for another 26 years

So, is he gonna get charged or what? because other managers have said a lot less and had the book thrown at them. Absolutely disgraceful double standards if the FA let this slide.
Seems like Wanyama is inside as well, which kind of clears the LFC-players, or so I’ve heard....
Yeah, me too. It is genuinely unbelievable that the FA would display open favouritism towards one manager, but that really seems to be the case.Unless I have missed the news he's actually not getting any punishment is he?
I was half joking about 'if this was Mou' but was certain he'd be slapped with a heavy fine.
As I said, I can see why it's been given.
But it was offside, so there shouldn't have even been a decision to make.
His big toe was offside how was the lino supposed to call that.
