Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Ugh cannot stand this man.

In the words of a much wiser man "there are lots of poets in football, but poets don't win many titles"

So Atletico starts out with their B team and "wants to win the cup"? In a game one of your players cheats to get a penalty? He's got some nerve to try and criticize a team that is miles better than his and a manager way more talented and accomplished than him.

Ah, he is pulling out the 'only one team wanted to play football' rhetoric......in a pre season friendly tournament

Liverpool wanted to 'play football', and Athletico Madrid beat them, what does that tell you about Liverpool's football?

His end is coming and Trust me it's going to be ugly.. You heard it here first.

You do know this is why he's very popular.

Love is blind, but so is dislike.

Very true. It just depends what lens it's viewed through.

He is very overbearing. But his heart is in the right place.

I like the fact he speaks his mind. He's willing to look stupid for saying things he believes in. He's far closer to a fan than Poch, Pep, Fergie, Conte, Jose. He doesn't seem to work angles through speech he just lets go. There's certainly something to be said for that.

Whether that makes him a good football manager though?.... undecided. He's comes off second best a staggering amount of times.

That celebration video was very funny though. The celebration was odd but the addition of baywatch music sees this lightbulb go on In your head because you know how perfect it is.

Football is better for him being in it. He's a good guy and I really enjoyed his idiosyncrasies at Dortmund. I probably would have enjoyed them if he came here. Perhaps at times in the way that I 'enjoyed' cringing at The Office and having to hide my face from the tv at the absurdity of Brent. But most of the time he'd have been good value.

But he's Liverpool manager. Their fans need that kind of character managing them like they need a hole in the head. It's the equivalent of a junkie finding a suitcase full of Heroin. He endorses their head in the clouds delusions and they endorse his mania. Rinse. Repeat. We go again.

Literally there can't possibly be a better match for club, manager and fans can there? And luckily for everyone else they aren't that good and he isn't that good. I just hope he's there for years to come but suspect he'll be gone by the end of the 2018/2019 season or before.

Funny thing is I'm sure he'd say that type of shit in a Champions League game when they get eliminated. Instead, he should actually take notes of what succesful managers are doing because whatever he's doing sure ain't working winning no trophies and all despite the best squad ever assembled.

 Best analogy it does suit Klopp and the Dippers!

So has Klopp overtaken Rafa in popularity yet?

That's really embarassing on so many levels.

The idea that Atletico played win-at-all-costs football while Liverpool were the picture of great football doesn't hold up to any scrutiny whatsoever, given it took Liverpool over an hour to create one real chance, and their only goal game from a blatant dive.

Well before that, Atletico scored the first goal of the game with a piece of lovely play, scored by an Albanian youngster making his debut.

He sounds very desperate at this stage.

Haha, yeah. I think Liverpool definitely wanted it more.

I hope so, very strange behaviour and it's become really negative all the time with him. His stock was still pretty high before he signed for pool all things considered. I think losing the Europa final really forced him to realize that he's not some footballing God who revolutionized the game. His record of final loses is staggering and a huge stain on his managerial record.
