Guess it's all relative. For teams that win things once every decade or so, the fans have to convince themselves that 17 years is only a while ago.
I honestly wanted him as manager after Fergie, but Christ Almighty he's a distinctly unlikeable chap.
Pressured by the F.A not to play in it.

I've seen similar sentiments before, that Klopp was a likeable chap when he was at Dortmund and he wouldn't look out of place as a United manager. Now, I don't watch the Bundesliga a lot, and I knew next to nothing about him (other than the ridiculous "heavy metal football" moniker) before he came to Liverpool, but has he always been this way, or is his antics just more unbearable now that he is a Liverpool manager?

It was embarrassing the way he was celebrating in face of 4th official on penalty save. As if 4th official had anything to do with it.
Your premise is all wrong here. Who do you mean by "you"? The poster you're addressing? Doubtful. The fans? If so, you'd be wrong. The club? Closer, but they (a handful of executives) were pressured by the FA and the government. Almost no one was really for United dropping out of the FA Cup.
I'm starting to think Klopp is a bit of a bluffer who masks his tactical deficiencies with noise and passion. Plus he's developed a deeply unlikeable streak with his behaviour and snide remarks this year but for some reason the media adores him.

Klopp's transfer activities speak of two things:
1. He doesn't necessarily buy filler to the extent that other LFC managers have. This is a clear strategic shift from previous regimes where getting bodies in was regarded as a virtue. The small size of the squad is testament to this.
2. He's bought shrewdly thus far. I don't mean his business is perfect; his business is, however, pretty sound especially when he's payed good money for someone - Wijnaldum and Mané being his two big outlays which have both worked. Matip was also very good business on a free. Klavan was back up and he's been very mixed - not a long term fix. Karius is the obvious issue. Again, not perfect.
In truth, relying on Klopp to waste money on dross isn't consistent with his hitherto dealings both at Liverpool and in Germany.
Strange because in the autumn United fans were simply saying Liverpool were in good form so it was dismissed. At that time form wasn't seen as particularly important. Now their form is being used to beat them with as it now, apparently, matters.
In truth using terms like 'crisis' for a team who are in 4th having been outside the top 4 seven times in eight years is just odd. It's a dip. Yesterday is the most recent from guide to use. If that's a crisis then meh.
At which point does it become a crisis then?
I guess losing more than twice in 20-odd league games would be a start. Look at Liverpool's league form. A defeat to Swansea was unacceptable - but can happen. Other than that in January they've drawn twice against the league's two form sides - United and Chelsea. It's not free fall stuff, is it? It's just not up to the standards of September to November.

Im not talking just about the league. But I guess you're happy about crashing out of the cups so there's that. You lost 3 games in a row at Anfield, have one victory since the start of the year, dont have goals in you.

What about removing the FA Cup games & assessing the form-line - I would think JK & LFC probably wanted to win the LC semi

Their January should've arguably been worse than it actually was. I felt both United & Chelsea massively let them off the hook by showing them far too much respect, Chelsea especially. Their defense is there for the taking but both teams put in defensive displays.
Picking up 2 points from Utd, Chelsea instead of 0 might be what gets them Top 4 come the end of the season.

SAF yes, he ripped into his players at Aberdeen after thehad won a cup final, SAF cared a lot about the performance, hence why we have phrases like "the united way". Not Mourinho though which is the reason he will never go down as one of the top greats for me.

Parker has had an axe to grind with United for years. He's also one of the most negative football pundits I've ever heard
I think that's the point people are making. Hansen back to Grobbelaar who rolls it out to Lawrenson. Short pass to Molby who passes it back to Grobbelaar. Grobbelaar picks it up, bounces it once, twice then rolls it out to Gary Ablett. Ablett, back to Grobbelaar and so on.... in the 5th minute of the match which ended 1-0 Liverpool (Rush 90).
The best footballing Liverpool side I ever saw was the 1987/88 one with Barnes, Beardsley and Aldridge. I disliked Liverpool back then too, but it was the last truly excellent Liverpool team in my opinion.
But only Liverpool stooped to bore the Bollox off everyone to such a degree that the backpass rule was brought in. One or two others copied it tbf, seeing it was part of the blueprint to success.
